"It scored 42% on the CPU stress test and it could never complete the GPU test because it overheats 3 minutes into it!"
Hmmm... maybe Motorola should wait a little longer and use Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 instead. For this kind of form factor, not having the highest-tier chipset might be the right idea after all.

I'm still sad they dropped the retro styling with the third generation onward. The 2020 Razr 5G was a terrible device but the Razr DNA was really there, while this device is just another generic foldable, albeit a pretty good one.

Why? Why put a flagship chip in there when it can't even reach the sd gen 3?

seeing AnTuTu only got 1.8 million for 8 Elite is crazy even 8 Gen 3 is faster than this.. feels like a waste of powerful SoC installed in a foldable. 8s Gen 4 should be more appropriate and lower the price.
GSMArena reviewed this nice color i like this.

MakeMotoBetterAgain, 24 Apr 2025this phone is good, but the prices has risen over 500, scre... moreIn EU there are no additional tariffs as far as I know, so why are you blaming them for the price hike?
In my country:
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra 12 GB/512 GB - 859 €
Motorola Razr 60 Ultra 16 GB/512 GB - 1299 € (+440 €)

floydb1982, 25 Apr 2025I would not buy this smartphone or any smartphone from Moto... moreI think I'm today's time with a more text filled era ppl won't keep there phones SEVEN years. I think 3 years Max. I work for t Mobile and seniors come in regularly to upgrade there phones, all because of the deals they get from trading in there exhausting phones OR adding lines. There's no need to keep a phone being 2 years if you can get the latest for almost nothing every year or two!

Bro I don't know anyone nowadays who keeps the phone over 2 years really any carrier there with. They usually have some type of promotion where they can trade in and get a better deal on the next one. So 3 years of updates should be perfectly fine. That also ties into the price. They have deals to cut the prices down

Looks awesome but 2 issues. Price has increased and OS updates are still stuck at 3 years. If you’re going to charge 1300 dollars and match Apple and Samsung pricing you need to offer more than 3+4 support.

Pumpino, 24 Apr 2025I never trust Motorola when it comes to updates and camera ... moreI had not used Moto phone for almost 30 years until August 2024 when I bought the Razr 50 Ultra because I was pissed off with the Samsung Z Flip 6 and I am totally happy with the 50 Ultra. Eagerly waiting for the 60 U Ultra.

Battery life of foldables is rivaling slabs now. Seems like foldables are good enough to go mainstream.

I would not buy this smartphone or any smartphone from Motorola at all. There not worth a dime because of there awful horrible very short term support compared to Samsungs much longer long term support. I put all my hard earned money into Samsung smartphones because Samsung offers 7 years of support on there S24 and S25 series. You'll never get that from Motorola.

Why pay for a SD Elite when the phone isn't designed to use it properly? Motorola could've made the phone thicker with better cooling or cheaper with an easier to cool lower end chipset like an 8sGen4, but they didn't.
