I have a feeling that some n79s are faulty whilst others are fine. Could it be that the white is made in diferent country to grey one? Or did a bad 'batch' of them get released by accident? I dont know? It seems strange that some have many faults and others are perfect? I want a white 'prefect one please! How do I atchieve this?? I dont want to chance to luck!htempleton@talktalk.net

I'm really interested in this phone and disappointed to read here that the camera isn't the best... but looking at those photos, it's not SO much worse than the N95 is it?
Which phone(s) out there actually take significantly better pictures? Surely not the C902 :-O
And can anyone say how the N79 camera compares to the 6220 classic, which is the other phone I'm considering right now?

n79 is better than n82 due to it's battery
n79's battery backup is amazing''(about 3 days with full use)''

I´m about to buy this mobile but can´t decide on what colour combination to go for. Canvas white or Seal grey? Can anybody give me some suggestons?

Hi i will like to know if this phone you can turn off the Red light while recording videos
i want a camera phone that dont have the ugly red light becuase i do tech videos and the red always reflects of the shiny surface of new Pc parts and cases
that you or what other phone Records videos at VGA (640x460) screen size without that red light

which phone should i buy,the faster(but with less RAM)n79,or the bit slower(120MB RAM) n82?...is the d-pad better in n79?

nokia, 27 Nov 2008Well it seems to be another same phone from nokia I am mis... morei know, logically it seems pretty ridiculous as the highenders rite now starting from N95, N95 8GB, N82, N85, N79 are pretty much overall the same, just FP2, OLED, FM transmitter, Firm Factor and Xenon are in the mix with them being the basic differences but its really a good way to capture the mass market as you get bored with a phone over time and changing it to another decent phone kinda refreshs the excitement and with each one you get something new, like OLED screen or a FM transmitter, look at other brands they have started doing the same, SE used to have K800i as its 3.2MP flagship and K850i as its 5MP king...it lost to nokia who was like throwing out 5mp phones at a insane rate...and now SE has multiple 3.2mp and 5mp phones too, same with Samsung an all......Nokia's my fav

Well it seems to be another same phone from nokia
I am mistaken or it is always the same thing with a different product code ?
I never seen a brand that plays with us like that
Nokia can do this way a new phone each day just by changing a little the case or the shape of the keyboard
But they will be always the same phone with different names

If there is one single reason why GSMArena's reviews sounded different, well that strongly proves that GSMArena.com reviews phones INDEPENDENTLY and not just by simply copying impressions from another mobile reviewing website.
Btw.. Have you already checked out ''MobileWitch.com''?? There you will discover that Mobilewitch is the GSMArena clone. Too bad. GSMArena tolerates this. =(

first, WiFi (yes, i prefer phone wi... moreNo. Not all N and E Series are always better on normal Nokia phones.
Imagine the Nokia Arte Series having better build quality than N Series. Or if the Arte Series is not enough, there's the elderly 6300, 6500 slide and 6600 slide with better build than the N Series.

first, WiFi (yes, i prefer phone with wifi, i don't need bigger megapixel)
second, the build quality. the E and N-series usually has better build quality than the regular Nokia phones.
