hi, i am using Samsung Metro mobile and i having problem of hearing of incoming calls but after mobile speaker will on then i can hear so pl tell me what can i do for that.

hi i just got my 3500 back from service regarding a display problem.....
but now when ive put the SIM it does not show any network coverage at all. SIM works good in other mobiles. what shld i do... pls help

Yes Sasi is right I have Samsung 3500 and my brother have Nokia 5130 xm.My phones battery backup is veeeeeeeeeeery less.I have to charge this phone every day even if i use it normaly Samsung 3500.When i hear 5 music even in headset the battery becomes half.My brother's 5130 has better battery life i had even heard music for more than 1hr in loud speaker but the battery was still full
Samsung metro is not good at this price compared to other phones

i have both nokia 5130 xm and samsung s3500.Both phones are good at that price.But I felt nokia 5130 more comfortable.Because 3500 cant veiw images in full screen when they are on memmory card and if we want to see another image we have to go back and select.But in nokia 5130 we can veiw fullscreen by simply pressing '*' button or by option , we can see next image by pressing side key ,we can view images in a sequence.Another problem in samsung metro is games are not working(cant even open) which works in nokia 5130.External volume is good in both phones.nokia 5130 have a nice music player and dedicated music keys.Music player of samsung is also good but it stops when we go to memmory card but in nokia music never stops and even when we veiw images,browsing net,playing games with no sound etc we can play music just by pressing pause or play key.So music player wins in nokia 5130.In the case of video player again nokia wins because videos can seen in music player, videos in memmory card and phone memmory is atomaticaly seen as a list in music library by refreshing(* button for full screen).In samsung 3500 videos in memmory card can be veiwed only in memmory card(# button for full screen).In samsung we cant skip to next video by pressing side key but nokia can(also by pressing next button in music keys).When we pause a video in music player and next time when we goes to music player that video can be seen from where we paused but samsung can't.2 mp camera in samsung 3500 had good clarity had night mode panoramic shot,white balance,frames etc(it does't have sports mode) .But in nokia 5130 camera features are limted but have good clarity.I have astonished to see some pictures taken in nokia 5130 in a trip I thought they dont have clarity when i saw in its display but when i veiwed them in computer I liked it because I took some pictures even when car gone at a speed of 80-130km/hr i got them somewhat unblurred(3500 moving pictures will get blurred).In very low light condition even if the camera does't have night mode it gave me bright images.In 5130 images at distance have less clarity than 3500.Nokia have digital zoom at its max image size but samsung donot have zoom at its max image size.Samsung gives detailed images than nokia and video recording is better than 5130(3500:320x240 fair quality,5130:176x144 low quality).We can edit image in nokia(Samsung cant).We can run some small java aplications in nokia 5130.Nokia has a fast opera mini browser.Nokia has seperate plugs for usb,charger,headphones(no usb charging -ve point).But these seperations in 5130 help me to do two actions(charging+hearing songs in headphones or charging+usb).Extra themes can be added to 5130 but samsung has only three themes+custom themes.5130 is more comfort to me
3500 has some good things like mobile tracker,stylish looks(better than 5130),larger screen than 5130 But I prefer nokia 5130
Before 1 month 3500's mother board got damaged.I gave it to samsung service center I didnt got the phone till now.
Luckily 5130 didnt have any complaint till now.
I bought 5130 1st it cost me around rs5200 and after 2 months i bought 3500 it cost me Rs5500

Vishwak, 08 Jan 2010i wud like to know hw to mute the service reply tone.. bcoz... moreum, u just turn the handset vol. down all the way or mute it.

Tejas, 02 Jan 2010I've this phone for 6 months and I am disappointed with som... moreIts true that Samsung mobile is not upto the mark and have so many problems and can never beat Nokia mobile. It seems, I have done a big mistake by purchasing Samssung Mobile. I recommend all of my friends now not buy any Samsung Mobile. Thogh it look good smart, lacking so many serious needs. One of the problem is, I can noot send international smses from Samsung mobile..

I am using it for 5 months and realy it's a good phone for MIDRANGE users.I have no problem with the functions.Sometimes even smart phone/high end phone also lacks a certain feature that makes one feels unconfortable with it.It depends upon the purpose of use.For me 3500i fits my purpose.Price,features & quality?soooooo fine.

I've this phone for 6 months and I am disappointed with some of its limitations regarding the applications and games.
Limitation #1: Not more than 40 apps/games can be stored, though it has a good internal memory (40 MB)
Limitation #2: Does not support apps/games more than or near to 500KB size (Mobile Orkut and Opera Mini 5 Beta doesn't work)
Limitation #3: Cannot transfer your games/apps to the memory card
Limitation #4: Installable .JAR files require .JAD file to install
Limitation #5: Cannot open high detailed websites (even without flash) and simply reboots if the system load is a little high. Even Nokia 3110c handles web pages with the same high detail properly.
Limitation #6: Calculator is just a simple one but not a scientific calculator
Limitation #7: Though having a good internal memory, SMS count is limited to 500 only while email count is just 100
Though, there are some noteworthy features like Mobile Tracker 2.0 (whih now-a-days very Samsung Mobile has), FM Recording, the phone still remains a bad option. If you want a phone to listen music, take pictures and videos, light gaming, this phone will be a better option. But not for a eager gamer and developer like me.

Hi,i am an engineering student and using S-3500 from last 6 months.it has no comparision with any (nokia, LG, sony) phone of this range.i have installed many java games and enjoy them without any problem.but i am unable to install any dictionary in it.the phone cant support the file type of dictionary.pls guide me about dictionary installation...

N.Rajesh, 14 Nov 2009hi buddy, i bought s3500 peice on 09-11-09.one of my frie... moreNo problems with the slider - it has a safe, solid spring loaded action. The keypad, on a single piece of plastic, is sufficiently finger friendly, with numbers divided by curved ridges that allow for accurate number tapping. Texting action is sufficiently responsive too.

i bought s3500 peice on 09-11-09.one of my friend told that it is having sliding problem.can u plz tell me whether your phone is having any sliding issue.

hi frnds, i am using s3500 for past a week, its really a good one, but i found only i problem in this, when i slide down my cell and when the light goes away, i cant operate my cell, i have to slide it up and then operate it. Can any one tell me about it.

I am very happy with the functioning and overall performance of S3500. I just have a query. When I switched ON mobile tracker, instantly, I received many service messages. 20 -30 SMS in a minute. So, I switched off the mobile tracker. After a couple of days, I re started the mobile tracker and then I didn't receive a single service message. I am confused why it happened so. Does anyone has the answer for such a behaviour of the system?
