I have had this phone for about a year and I hate it. I find the touch screen is unresponsive. The picture viewer at uses the accelerometer is VERY anoying as I can stop the images sliding from one to the next.
I cant get the software to run on my laptop (two laptops and wont run on either)
The Camera is very good and the screen is great. The battery life is poor but not terrible. I had a LG Viewty before and gave it to my son... its battered and scratched but I want it back !

dave, 24 Jul 2009i got a game when i try play it a java screen appears then ... moreall you have to do is select the secret option and your game will play...do this.....open phone and press
star hash 6984125 star hash select internal then enter master key...which is star hash 9072641 star hash select storage then settings then click on update java db.....then all your games will work....happy gaming!!!

I just wanted to know the response of msg typing with the KEYPAD??
Is it the same bad response noticed whlle typing the msg through the touchscreen or better than that....?
And one thing more, the sound quality of the music on loudspeakers??

charlie, 24 Aug 2009the phone's good but the battery's performance is not that ... moreei man i read your comment i really didn't understand what you are trying to point out coz your words are redundant... also you cannot buy a battery on a service center you can go and buy it on shops.. you can check it out on sm megamall or greenhills its common sense... service centers are for "servicing" damaged units or problematic units not for selling... also if your gonna comment make sure to make it clear and comment on the phone pros and cons...

Had this phone since May, and I'm thinking of buying a HTC Magic outright, or something message friendly. I message a fair bit, and this phone is annoying when it comes to messaging. Lack of navigational keys really is bothersome. As people have said, it takes forever to move the cursor to where you want.
You can edit words by pressing the "0" (zero) key if you can get your cursor in the middle or right next to a word - took me a while to work this out.
Battery life is a bit poor, but it doesn't bother me, neither does the lack of a 3.3 mm jack. What is annoying, is I can't find a charger (car or otherwise) so I can have a second one at work just in case. Screen is great as is the camera. The slide out keypad can be useful - the fact that it lights up at certain times of the day (PM) also doesn't worry me.
Find Music (Track ID) is great. Since having a Sony Ericsson it's a must on any phone for me. Radio is also great - I want to say it's digital, but maybe it's not - it does have similar features in that when listening to the radio, it displays what song is on.
Widgets are Ok, but another annoying thing is you can't lock them to your home screen, so at times when you are trying to scroll your screen down to get to a widget you have put else where, it might move one instead. Also, the widget sidebar opens up when you touch the home screen - kinda annoying and would be better if it opened up when you touched the tab.
Browsing the net - at the moment, every page is in French, even though all the settings are set to English. In the process of having this fixed as it is still under warranty.
If messaging were a little easier to do, it would be a great phone.

the phone's good but the battery's performance is not that good because i only txt for about 40 txt maximum yet 3 bars from the battery level gets down?how come when i use this phone on calls?i went to one of your shop at sm san fernando pampanga here in the philippines,how come that i asked the store clerk and asked if there's an available battery in that store, how come yhat they answered "no available"and the store is also named "service center"?no accessories available for the said phone,that saddens me,i'ved always been a nokia user but i,ved tried this brand because i hear good comments.please improve your services so costumers like me can recommend this brand to all of my friends,co drivers,and loved ones also.thank you

I have this phone and I can honestly say that the only problems I have with the phone are that the battery is quite bad (granted I didn't charge it for 16 hours like I was supposed to when I first got it) I hate that I can't change the screen saver and I could REALLY do with a cancel button. Otherwise it is, in my honest opinion, the best phone I have ever come across.

i have mine for almost a week already and had the firmware update to the latest one.but the questions are
1.I have lost the original circus theme tones and charming intro.can i get those back? HELP!
2.Since i updated it the speaker start hissing at the first time the speaker rings. like sss and end with sss tu.do you have this problem too? i go to the samsung centre already and they said it is normal and nothing's wrong with it.HELP!

Have had this phone 2 months or so, i originally had the Se C905 which was dreadful...
any way ive had no problems at all.. the main downside is its a bit slow when typing text messages.. i could write half a page and sit and wait for it to catch up with me...
this is onli drawback to the phone ive found... others have had issues with not being able to edit a word youve typed towards the top of a text say... :S ive had no issues wat so ever... camera is spot on ive taken pics of something on the tv ive wanted some1 else to see (gaming) and the quality is brilliant... battery life is terrible im charging mine daily which isnt too much of a problem for me but just really annoying...
