iam happy with s8000 .it needs time to learn how to use it fast. you can use any java software {ex:opera mini]compatable with previous samsung mobile {ex :s5600} just install it in your phone and you will finde it in games file .enjoy it

i have had the jet for about month now, overall i am satisfied with the fone, but for some reason is seems to be lacking the Samsung navigation software and the option for multiple transition effects.
the phones touch navigation is no where as smooth in comparison to the iphone and every now and then the screen freezes meaning i have to restart the phone by removing battery.
there aslo seems to be a small of amount of widgets that come on the phone and that are available from their website...

Ali, 05 Jul 2009why doesnt the review say ani thing bout the audio quality ... moreHaving had the Jet since it was released, I can say that the audio quality is the best I have heard from a phone. I am a big music lover and listen to music all of the time, I haven't been disappointed with it yet.

Mark, 16 Jul 2009Hi i have just purchased the samsung jet and trying to work... moreI have the Samsung Jet and you add speed dial by adding them to favourites, but they have to be stored on either your sim or phone, I am not sure which one. When you open your phone book, you should see a drop down menu on the top right, choose favourites, and you will have the option of adding people to the list.

Hi i have just purchased the samsung jet and trying to work out if and how speed dial works if it has this feature? for example when i push and hold a number key it will display a message EMPTY SPEED DIAL. can anyone help me please, thank you.

I am surprised from the samsung jet that I cant view the images received by mail if the images are atached it will be viewed by pressing the link for each photo which is something boring and delay and if the images are linked from other website not attached in the mail it will not be viewed I hope samsung do some update with their browser to be cable to view the images attached in the mail and can view the images which are linked in the mail box.
Add to that Also, I Cant view the MS Office files When Attached in the mail, Really Iam shocked from the samsung Jet I hop samsung do some updates

I'd suggest you take a look at the latest E-series offerings, the E71 and the E75, and the pathetic reception they're offering. i have this handset, S8003, to be exact. and i notice there's no several transition effect like in the preview video.
and i notice the camera was unable to toggle the LED on/off in other mode except in the none/auto scene. so photo portrait using the "none" scene in lowlight area resulting an over-brightness in face area, while using portrait will produce almost black photo. is it just me? or i was forgetting something. thx

English, Spanish and French, by far most part of phones comes with 2 but missing spanish. The only phone in the market allowing me to switch between both trhee or even 15 languages and still performing text recognition is the I-phone. Of course i dont like I-phone. Would like to know if this Samsung will allow me to use the T9 functions in French, Spanish,English and eventually Italian an Portuguese. many thanks..

I was looking for a cell phone with Symbian on it. I heard phones with Symbian are faster than those with Windows mobile. Now I see that this S8000 has nothing mentioned about Operating System in de specs. What is the Operation System needed for? Is it to be able to open MSOffice-like documents? And what is the disadvantage of the S8000 in comparison with phones that do have Symbian on it. Thanks
