Look (and compare) at the area with the unreadable yellow sign in pic 1. N86's photo is clearly more sharp and detailed than Innov8. While Innov8 makes the center of the picture beautiful (no doubts about that), it can't manage to focus on the whole image.
The same thing can be said about the flower pic (nr. 4); Innov8 made a more detailed picture in the center with better (false?) colors, but the rest of the picture was completly blurry.
Overall N86 is better, but we'll see the real winner at the full review. Hopefully we'll see another camera shootout soon...

Mobile Review is came out with full review and their sample photos also same, bad quality. (It is not extremely bad but not the best either)
Not only me said it is bad and behind C905. The true it is ready behind C905 quality.
Go check back the whole comment here, how many people said it is extremely stunning the photo quality? Not much.

I personally think that this phone is ugly. All Nseries phones are ugly compared to any samsung or LG flagships. But I hope that it will at least have a significantly better camera than innovate. Cant wait for a detailed comparison against innovate in terms of picture quality. Forget about sony ericsson c905.

I always do that, they is not a matter using touch screen phone with one hand because I touch it using finger, no stylus is needed, some more stylus is not working at my ultra touch or ipod touch. This is the two touch devices I always handle it with one hand.
I believe plenty of touch user can do that as well, unless the device is a must by using stylus. Even my ex-touch phone, LG Viewty also can handle it using one hand.

Sony Ericsson
LG
and Nokia
and Nokia still way behind in 8MP...Wide Angle is good but quality isn't that much to compete with other hand sets samsung on the lead following up by SE and LG in 8MP
and SE already entered 12MP and same to samsung
while Nokia still haven't reach that level yet..

I don't think S60 has a resolution cap of QVGA as the E90 ran WVGA resolution quite happily.

Beside here, more comparison has been done by Mobile Review as well. The sample photos take also show it can't win Innov8 at all beside off course it took more object due to it better wider angle.
But Innov8 still win and getting better quality.
Mobile review even do a comparison between N86 vs N85. The result is N85 can product much more better than N86. This ready surprising me! The sample show me N86 can't even beat the quality of N85.
Last comparison done by mobile review is N86 vs LG Viewty II. I must admin the quality of LG Viewty II is ready bad and is the worst among all. (But the LG Viewty II is not official out yet)
N86 is official launch at Singapore and some others country.

This already show it is better than N86 (at the moment)
From the sample here, as I said before, N86 is damn bad, the scenery shot is not sharp but blur, it even worst than the most worst 8megapixel phone - C905.
What wrong if photo taken is beauty than actual? Photos always cheat. and all SLR is getting even nicest than reality.

Please show a N86 vs Ultra Touch comparison, not some single shots only made by one of them, because then we'll never know how it looks in the reality, as Samsung phones tend to make the reality more beautiful than it really is.

More wide so the macro cannot get what it suppose need? if the macro that damn good, why GSMarena can't shoot more near than Innov8. What for getting more on those floor? You are targeting the flower or the floor? or somewhat you mention the leaf of the flower?
If the D90 take such macro, then I won't need any SLR. Between, D90 get more decent macro which only focusing on the flower.
Overall the color of Innov8 is better, but the flower may correct may not. I am not the person that shot the photo as I can't said the flower is what color. Go check more photos people took using Innov8. The white balance of recent Samsung lens is kinda accurate.
I do agree Samsung lens give more vivid color which some people may don't like. But their vivid still under control which give life to the photo and not over saturate.
This N86 quality can't even past the N82 lens. N82 lens is brilliant and is still among the best camera phone ever done by Nokia.

A Gud Capable Phone......But Don't know what more ppl want 4m a fone.......For Me N82 ws enough but keypad and battery life cud hve been better and luk wat new firmware hs brought 2 it........so wat wud 12 mp satio though i like it just bcoz of symbian wich is my fav.......a simple n mass market approach of nokia is f9 though i do admit dat nokia took experimenting way too much vid sme of their fones like n78.....dey calld those slabs as keypad but nw i hve seen e71 e63 n79 dey r back on track wid a bang FP2 hs virtually made sure dat symbian is the best os for fones though apple n google aftr getting a bit more mature wud provide sme nice competition.....nw nokia hs gone back 2 where it ws good ergonomics, better n stable software, gr88 battery, display quality , durability, n to top it off a new firmware always adds more to d fone and also fixes a few nuts to perfect it........rest opinions r gud too but thnks 2 other makers d sleeping giant has gotten up in a big way........but plzz nokia no xtreme experimenting n sleeping aftr a revolution(N95)!!

*Add on: Renoir also take decent photos just their white balance and color sometimes is not so accurate but it still take more better details, sharpness compared with N86. N86 is somehow to blur, last time my rate for worst 8Megapixel phone is C905 and it seems that N85 is even worst.
