Its my first smartphone and the first phone in a long time I've been both excited about and not disappointed by.

Sure, its not perfect (what is?) but it does everything I wanted it to and a lot more besides.

Perkele, 06 Aug 2009Maybe its a little bit offtopic, but I just have to say it,... morei think there is an option to get rid of the sense ui if u dont like it on the htc hero. if u do, it will run faster and less laggy but u lose widgets, 7 homescreens instead of 3, multitouch, and flash web browsing (i think). u might wna wait for SE x3 which will hv a 1ghz processor and android donut (probably)

Sending files through bluetooth is possible without rooting, receiving on the other hand is not. But is possible once you root your phone. :)

Am expecting (and read somewhere) that this will be implemented in Android 2.0 or even next minor version of OS. So don't be too sad :). Android powered devices can all run any version of OS :). I've seen G1 running Hero firmware with Sense UI. :) Life's good!

Lol, 4:20 on screen 1. Wish I could review phones. I'd wake and review, and review before I went to a buffet or movie.

Seems like they followed Apple's IPhone with messaging and not allowing users to delete messages separately or individually which is a big negative.
