Another proof:
The technical sheet of processor S3C6410 of Omnia II from the following link is clearly shown how this processor work:
http://www.samsung.com/global/system/busin...c6410_rev40.pdf
The processor can operate on following speed as below
•533MHz @1.1V
•667MHz @1.2V
•800MHz @1.3V
That why Omnia II has CPU performance throttling feature (Low,High..etc) and it is 800Mhz if set at high.
GSMArena, please check and study and correct the mistake, your main page new added comment is still wrong as you guy never go study deeply how this processor work.

Please admit that you were wrong regarding CPU and TV out as I always trust GSMARENA reviews
If you download technical sheet of processor S3C6410 of Omnia II from the following link
samsung.com/global/system/business/semiconductor/product/2008/10/1/994730ptb_s3c6410_rev40.pdf
you will find that processor can operate on following speed as below
•533MHz @1.1V
•667MHz @1.2V
•800MHz @1.3V
This proves why Omnia II has CPU performance throttling feature (Low,High..etc)

Beside this, by using the TCPMP 0.72RC1 processor speed detector it will clearly show you 3 different speed depends on how you set the power option in the unit.
Auto = 815 Mhz
High = 845Mhz
Normal = 400 Mhz
Low = 270 Mhz

Not sure what happen to GSMArena! Such a big review site but can give a total wrong information!
Samsung OMNIA II:
- 800Mhz CPU (not 667Mhz)
- Have TV output
- The unit I bought have pre-install NAVfone GPS software
What a shame, GSMArena you all never study? before review???

Anonymous, 29 Aug 2009But where are they? still in dream land. And once they come... moreThe N900 is already on sale on Nokia's official sites in Germany and Italy at an unsubsidized price of 499Euro + VAT. The release date is 1st October so is only a month away.
All high end phones cost in the region of 500Euros and the Omnia II is no different. That's why I said competition is tough!

The 533/667MHz on the specs sheet is the FSB speed, not the ARM processor clockspeed

It also has a digital compass, and it turns ON in case of alarms. That features appear for the first time on WM...

Very good review. Only problems with the review were that the processor is actually 800mhz and it does have tv out. A fuss was made about not having satellite navigation software to try out on the phone, but a demo version could have been downloaded for the review.
Such an awesome phone. I reckon it's better than Omnia HD except for the camera. Gsmarena also said it was faster and smoother running than Omnia HD. The Cortex A8 in Omnia HD doesn't make it so much greater than Arm 11, funny how some people seem to think so, processing speed counts too and it show in the Omnia II. Nvidia Tegra also uses Arm 11 and their clever design makes their processor work much better than others.
Now Samsung better be at work making a Tegra powered super multimedia smartphone with HD camera, Amoled, HD-out and a slide out qwerty keyboard, 16GB onboard storage and 512mb ram.

A fantastic phone but the only problems are Nokia's new mega flagship N900 and HTC Leo.
This device can't compete with them.

such a shame samsung still loads WinMo in their highest profile phones, i get so mad when i see how freaking slow the phone response is, even with a 800mhz processor, in the video you can see that since you press the cube button until you get the menu screen, it takes almost 2 seconds, and in the gallery it works really slow too. i dont even want to talk about the panoramic gallery cuz it makes you laught

The review fails to comment on how much RAM memory is available after a reboot, both with and without the TouchWiz UI. I have seen numbers as low 60MB, which downright bad.
Please GSMArena, update your review with that info, as it is the only [potential] issue holding me back from buying the Omnia.
