Samsung I8000 Omnia II review: A surprising experience

28 August 2009
Samsung's top tier of Omnia devices is populated by some seriously heavy-hitters - first the 720p video recording Omnia HD and now the Omnia II - with its best-in-the-business display, WM 6.5...

13TH!!!

This is an excellent successor to the Omnia. I had the original omnia i love it. They improved everything UI, Camera, gallery, Internet, styling, screen quality.

Awesome, i still think if you have the money though the Omnia HD is a better way to go. Now i have to wait for my N97.........

Such a nice looking device, huge and brilliant display, but it's ruined with WinMo colour limitations, 64k colors was great nine years ago. Maybe WinMo 7.0 will be better, until then it's Maemo and N900 for me. Can't wait to get mine asap!!!!

you mentioned at the begging of the review in featers section that there is tv-out (only standard definition) but you does not say a word in connectivity or video section. Please , some opinion. And include comparation with Nokia N900 ( probably the best place when you make preview of N900)

The processor is 800Mhz. 667Mhz is a mistake.

The 667mhz arm11 isn´t the speediest cpu around. Specially when you have the A8 on the omnia HD, Palm Pre and the 3Gs
