Satio vs. Pixon12: 12MP shootout teaser

16 October 2009
It took cameraphones exactly one year to take the next step in their evolution, closing the gap on dedicated digicams even more. As usual we are here, carefully tracking the progress and checking out if it's going in the right direction...

SE is one of the worst companies on this department. Sorry, but i won't buy a phone from a company that doesn't care for my health..!
      (satio: 1.04w/kg Pixon 12: 0.43w/kg)
PS: everything above 0.7w/kg is considered a toaster!!

Pixon12 maybe a bit better on the camera, but I won't buy a phone for just the camera itself (say hi to canon). I need something that does a bit of everything. Pictures, Music, Web, to looking really cool, You name it... Satio is clearly my Party Phone...

                  and yeah,
For some reason, Samsung Phones look bad.
Except for the JET. Almost all look bad.
Good features but very poor design.

                  Satio is classy. wooooot wooooot!!

SERBIA, 16 Oct 2009first My Pixon 12 problems focusing video recording.

I read it from the general problem and perhaps solved with future upgrades of the mobile ..

Is ugly thing to blur the image in the video.

The firmware I have is the SW VER M8910XXIG9 and
                    CSC VER M8910OXCIG1. Does anyone know if the final set to support Greek;

There may be a problem devices?

NO doubt, in satio, clear sharpness can be seen in the image although the images taken from Pixon 12 are captured from bigger distance.

Satio is good, but m not sure, it can take same quality pics indoor. GSM next time you should take indoor pics also for comparison

The result by me is 3:2 for Satio.

In the three outdoor shots by my opinion Satio has much more better result, more detailed, clear and realistic pictures.
On the other hand, the macro shot and the "flash" shot from this test taken with the Pixon 12 look much better than the shots of the Satio, especially the "flash" shot.

My personal conclusion: Since I am using the camera mostly for outdoor pictures, my choice and winner is the Satio.
Frankly speaking, I do not believe that I would take much shots of an chewing gum box and posters on a wall.

I totally agree with this comment

                                        In my opinion...:

Pixon's pictures are a bit over sharpened, but better in macro and low light situations than Satio...
Satio seem's more balanced in normal light conditions... with a bit more definition... Personaly in the overall I prefer Satio...!
