Will the X10 receive Android 2.0 update (for those who bought from the initial batches with Android 1.6) ?

The UX platform used for Xperia X10 will evolve to Android 2.0 over time.

I am going for Satio, because Satio is much cheaper than X10 and have also good specs.

So.... Apparently X10 will have 16 Million colors.

Android 1.6 is limiting it to 65k. But the hardware is capable of 16m.

But I strongly believe that they must do their homework first before releasing the specs to public. Else it is misleading. They have successfully generated enough interest because of that processor.

Delaying the launch is expected and nothing so unusual. In fact I was surprised that people are expecting it to be launched in early next year. But downgrading its CPU would be a major blow. That was the most important part of X10. If they indeed do that, wont you guys agree that SE is playing with everyone? 1ghz will end up in marketing gimmick only. It would be such a waste for an otherwise great design.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but my wife works at SE, & she said X10 won't launch until mid July of 2010.:(

I really hope it will be sooner, but she don't count on it. There are problems with the UI, & there is even talk of downgrading the processor.

                      Hope it's not true...but we'll see.

I hope this is just a prototype unit only...and when it comes out it won't be as laggy as what we've witnessed. This is an awesome phone and I hope the 1 GHZ CPU will live up the hype....from the video released, doesn't look to promising.

The iPhone has been officially destroyed. The date? 3rd November 2009. The killer? Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10.

iPhone users will now be carrying around an inferior device to 90% of the mobile phone market. Old technology (3mp camera LOL!) tucked away in a device only iSheep will be stupid enough to pay for. While you people continue to kid yourselves you have a "good" phone, I will be living life with the superior XPERIA X10 with technology Apple will bring out in 5-7 years time.

                                    Enjoy your iPhone bahahahahaha
