sweet, 10 May 2011nokia users plz do not bring nokia n97 mini beacuse it not ... morei also have both, but nokia n900 is not good for carrying around, too heavy, and is more like pc, not mobile, only if you want to hack stuff in home

Bought it on august 2010, lost it oN November 2012. This is My first smartphone. Then BlackBerry 9850, several Android Gadget, BlackBerry Z10 (BB10 OS), and now iPhone. Nice tO witness the Mobile phone world revolute.

It's my first smartphone, so I cant compare it with others. I like it, but battery life is very very poor, about 5 hours if you use Internet and GPS. So, if you use the N97 for a trip in a foreign city, you need another battery already charged in your pocket. Touch screen is slow, accelerometer too, and digital compass need too often be calibrated. At 199 euros, with navigation kit, (plus 49 for second battery) is not bad. Thank you, Nokia, for your brilliant phones of the past, my next phone will be an Android, I think (no w7 mobile, neither Iphone)

nokia users plz do not bring nokia n97 mini beacuse it not have any great thing if u want to know abount latest mobile techololigy plz bring nokia n900 there price defference are not so mach but its is so much heavi than nokia n97 plz do not bring nokia n97 nini i have these both mobile but i referce to nokia n900

5800 or n97 mini?
i read that after you update the SW in 5800 is a reaaly good phone for its price. but most of the coments i read of n97 mini are bad.
i'm from argentina,here there isn't much difference in the price between 5800 and n97 mini unlocked, thTOUCHe mini is a little bit more expensive so i don't know what to do. I love the design of the mini, and its 5mpx, but i'm afraid if it turns out to be not worth the money.
Also is vivaz, but i think is slow, and i don't know if they will update the software.
There's samsung wave too (cost the same as mini here), that has beautiful HD recording, but i like resistive T.S more.
(I hate that everyone says "how can they make resistive touch screens these days?! It's 2010/2011. I LIKE RESISTIVE, i love handwriting recog. and that i can use it with my nails)

The Nokia97mini is a beautiful handsets but there is major problem that n97mini is having to problem of restart and touch no work in incoming calls.So i am not happey for this costly handsets.

see en, the n97 is a good fone but u need a power plant to power it just for u to enjoy it. the solution is easy, nokia should just release a new battery or better still an update to reduce the drinking of the battery.

this is one of best phone frm Nokia. Everythng is ok, my rating 10 out of 10. It's smartphone indeed. Go ahead Nokia N97mini-laptop.

N97 mini battery too bad just not worth. A biz phone needs to have good battery power as there are demanding applications. worst battery power looses too fast from 3 cells to almost nil in less than 5 min on web through a WLan connection.
bought this phone last week September 2010 and making this post within 7 days of buying an expensive gadget. However hopeful if some can help save battery power.
No background functions working.
I donot use music player
Not much video or photo
Screen light off set at within 30 sec
Brightness display minimum.

i have 3 months old nokia 97 mini ...
i noticed recently right side of speaker is not working ...
i searched on nokia discussion forum abt this topic ,,,
i found 15-20 users having same problem ....
their nokia 97 mini's RIGHT SIDE SPEAKER is also not working .......
right side speaker is not working is common .
now please help me
how can i get rid out of this problem ....

ok let s strat with gu... moreits still up to the readers and/or end users to get this phone even how hard you pursue not buying the device.
i just got mine for a replacement of my 5800xm that got its battery leaked.
i admit it lacks many features for a multi-media and smartphone device, but have not experience any problems on connection, SW and/or HW.
