I use a lot of Google services, and I am currently split between this and the Droid (if and when it comes to the UK). How does the phone handle Gmail and Gtalk? I.e. will it be possible to make these the default, top layer email and chat clients?

rumor has it going that nokia is making a new device which is n900 mini or n920, no physical qwerty keyboard, which will have a potrait mode and maemo 6, this coming 2/15/2010... sorry for my bad english, im from finland...

I'd like to know if you can play online flash games on it? And it would be useful if you compared it to the 3GS,DROID,HD2 and X10. Lookin forward to the review.

can som1 plz tell me how the screen is workin seein its a resistive screen.from the youtube videos it seems 2 b operating like a capasitive ,swipes look smooth n fluent.giv us a feedback on screen performance as 2 how much pressure is needed or none at all............thanks

To the HOTMAIL question below. You can do all of that. Whatever you can do with Hotmail on your desktop computer, you can do on maemo. Even the old maemo 4 tablets N800,N810 can do that.

in the review it is said that only those who have EXTREMELY big hands will have kinda trouble using the qwerty. in the photo, we can see that the guy's thumb easily covers 4 buttons!!!!

Good slim version review. I would like to read more about N900's capabilities when comes to playing different video file types. Nowadays I am using a nokia 5800 and I am heavy disapointed by the the fact that it is not able to play divx, xvid (avi) videos. I find it stupid to have such a big screen and not being able to watch movies on it. I do not find acceptable to convert all my videos to mp4. Also i am interested if N900 suports subtitles disply. Thank you very much

Yeah, please review the stereo speakers, still camera quality and touch sensitivity in the full review.

Can you please check if the browser lets you open MSN hotmail account and can you view/open the folders in the account?? and also if you can download attachments and files from you hotmail account (inbox and other folders). This is really important because i want to buy the phone but i must know if i can view my full hotmail account because i use the account for work. till now the only browser i found that can do smth like this is the opera mobile. getting the inbox is easy but the folders in the account is not. Please check this if you can with the n900 cuz i really wanna buy the phone. Thanks!

There is software called aMSN that works on the N900 pre production units, but has yet to be tested on the retail units.

GSM Arena preview (page 2):
It needs a slight push (rather than just a touch) for a click to be registered but that's to be expected with resistive touchscreen. There are some exceptions where you can hardly find a difference but still.
That's my point all along..!
to those who say, resistive is the same with capacitive...
It's not. Okay?!
Resistive is responsive as well, that's true. But you need to put MORE pressure on the scren, while as with capacitive, your slightest touch will do!
There's slightest difference folks! but still... ;P
