I also am concerned about the battery life, especially since the device is supposed to "connected all the time". I have a motorola cliq and the motoblur interface kills the battery quite quickly (6 and a half hours flat).

hey thx for this review
i have the n97 and im facing the famous problem that all the users got with the camera scratching the lens, thus making the pictures have a white shadow on the left
will we face the same problem with the n900 cuz from what i saw its pretty much the same cover

Hi thanks for the preview! :) is it also possible for you to please add a section in the conclusion of your upcoming review, a comparison between the high end upcoming mobiles such as the HTC HD2 and the other competition. I'm thinking of buying one of these high end devices :)

I apologize for my english but I write using google translator, I am a bit surprised by this review, so the pictures Phone arena pics are so weak and the Community Forum here really came good when it comes to quality? I do not understand this

Hi, I have a few questions that I hope you address in your upcoming review.
Firstly, how is the battery life?
How do you take screenshots with it?
Is it possible to save pictures found in the web browser like you can with the iphone?
thanks in advance ;)

I think i'l wait and see if the rumor of a N920 without qwuerty is true, sins i am a 5800 user for one year and multitasking like mad that i need a stronger device, i need a device like the N900 but 1 thing that kils me right now 181 grams i like to watch movies, listen to music, read PDF files, and browse the net (While lying in bed) so 181 grams is gonna make my arms num lol i realy need to upgrade and i'm exciting about maemo just waiting i'l suffer the keybord for some les grams.

nice preview and good to hear you are taking your time for the full review. always better to have a good review than a poor hasty one.
I would like to know if you can receive calls with the skype app. In other words do you need to activate the app before you can receive a skype call or is it standard activated. Sure you need a internet/wifi connection enabled.
and the battery life, i read that 7hours to one day is the max. Is this true?
btw I preordered the phone and hope to receive it shortly.

ewww... ugly... another big fat black brick from nokia... nice ui and memory but the design sucks big time... resembles other nokia phones... im sure they're just relying on a single design for all their phones... no variation at all, no wonder you're going down.

Yeah we need battery life info!
Also need to inform people that although Maemo is open source there does'nt seem to be a lot of mainstream games amd stuff for it YET.

Hi, nice initial preview. want to know a couple of things mainly to do with Music player:
Does it have search option for songs. with about 1000 songs, it will be nice if we can search using the keywords on the music player, like we do on symbian devices
How good is the music quality & music volume, due to lack of eq settings & sound settings.
Please answer these for me in your review.

Hi,
I just dont get it...
Why is gsmarena putting work in a preview when they allready got the device and everybody is waiting for a full in depth review?
You guys allready announced a review...ok... but wouldnt it be much more efficient to just work on one test which can be allready uploaded on the week end?!
I know I know its all about the clicks...
;-)
