Btw guys, is there any difference between the white and black versions? I know that my white Hero has a polytetrafluoroethylene coating that isn't there on the other color versions so I was thinking maybe the white X10 has a toughened up exterior?

As for the "bad sound quality with a lame mono speaker" comment from the hoodie who obviously likes to play music out loud on his bus journeys to school, buy yourself some headphones (or a stereo)! This is an Android phone, so you can download an app at the click of a button to play radio (as with divx supporting players)! Also Sony Ericsson does sell wireless headphones compatible for the X10 that have a radio built in.

http://www.gsmarena.com/mo... moreNo, not now, I'll not buy a new phone each month so I'm waiting for the best phone.
BTW Milestone and Xperia X10 are 2 fantastic phones, so there's no reason to diss one of the phones I think.
Plus Xperia X10 is in some aspects better than Milestone.
I think of
Camera resolution 8MP vs 5MP (Milestone also hasnt a lenscover)
processor: Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon 1 GHz processor vs ARM Cortex A8 550 MHz processor
both X10 and Milestone dont have a xenon
X10 is not full plastic, back is rubberised for the black one.
...
Realy I think you shouldn't talk about any mobilephonebrand like that. If you want to give a proper rational comment you better don't let your prejudices interfere. I'm realy not interested in the fact that you hate SE. Just give surplus value or beat it

OMG !! What a terrible phone!!
Too big and outdated once again by SE !
There is no radio or divx/HD support
The quality of screen is AWFUL !
No multitouch and only 65000
With OLD OS and
a single lame speaker !
This should be a 2008-9 model... now it is a waste of money !!!
And it won't be released till q2 2010 @
BIG MISTAKE SE!!BIG MISTAKE!

Why is this so?? Finally saw a nice designed S.E. phone, camera specs good, 3.5mm audio jack, & yup my long waited usb port! However, why can't S.E. perfect it with the 16m colors display? Hmm... guess I will wait for the next one then. Looking forward to the next big hit, which will have all the latest features available then.

This seems to be truly superb mobile phone. But Sony Ericsson is a business, and like any business, they have to make money. This rapid releasing of multiple smart phones is definitely a plus for a company who hasn’t had much of a history in developing smartphones, except for the very few developed using Symbian’s UIQ-which didn’t turn out well. It shows Sony Ericsson branching out into a completely different arena. But these are super phones, and thus they come with hefty price tags. The Satio (IDOU), X1, X2(which you don’t hear about anymore), and X10 wont be yours without an arm an possibly two legs. For the company to make money, it needs to find a way to partner with service companies in the United States to subsidize the costs and compete with other mobile phone companies like Nokia, Samsung, LG, Motorola etc. I do see a positive future in Android however. Time will tell how SE’s first Android based phone works out, and if they can find a way to get this phone in the U.S. market for consumers at a reasonable price.

Xperia can support 16 mil colours but because it launches with Android 1.6 it 'll just be capable of showing 65,536 colors. In future there 'll be an update to Android 2.0 whitch will allow the Xperia to show 16 mil colors. you got that?
