Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 review: Another one in

29 January 2010
It was back in February 2008 that the XPERIA lineup was born and it took Sony Ericsson almost two years to bring about the XPERIA X1 successor. The long waiting is over now and the XPERIA X2 is keen to prove to us all it was...

GSMarena your review is not fair at all... there are a lot of phones that you reviewed before and you chose better words to describe any features... but with X2 you talk down all the time and makes me wonder why you review it in the 1st place

thats not fair to just blame every thing on the cpu speed.the main problem is in their coding.the programs need to be reconfigured for the cpu they are runnig on.
        all the best

just to answer a few questions and make a correction to the review. the x2 does have a front facing camera for video calls but its not enabled yet, the same goes for the fm radio, both have been promised via firmware update soon.

also the original fish panel has been made available for download to x2 owners over 2 weeks ago.

"no equalizer presets, stereo enhancements or visualizations" in the music player.. what the hell is goin on!? Why put a 3.5mm jack when and then totally ignore the the audio player, both i sound quality and enhancements.. I was thinking of trying this one out, kinda tired of Blackberry now.. Hope SE fails big time.. this is a big piece of crap.. I expected more..

Ive been using the X1 for a while, has been great, does everything, perfect size, although if it were a little more responsive I would be happy. They should have held the X2 back until WM7, but anyway, the X2 is probably not worth the upgrade from an X1, but definitely worth it if you havent had a smartphone before.
