SE Have reduced it's line and look like they have been taking stock of the way things have been leading for them. Their market share has been falling for years now which i think the same can be said for many feature phone manufacturers but i think SE has been hit the most its fair to say.

The X10 needs to be on sale right now to make the Q1 release claims! So have they learnt their lessons? maybe a little but as mentioned before they need to release these phones closer to the release of first press release because the HTC's of this world can turn there hardware around in a fraction of the time and as for software features we only have to look at the transformation that windows has made with their mobile platform to see that the ideas of others (Palm's synergy) can be carried out with more gravitas and made to look fresh, innovative and desirable while you're still tring to sell fragile hardware that has let down its great software foundation.

What a crazy year its been and something tells me that we haven't herd the last of King Apple iPhone either. I'd put money on a new UI for version 4.0 now but before the conference I would have thought they would stick to the "Brain wash your users to want less, means more profit" attitude that kept millions of users waiting three years for cut and paste features.

I love it, let the games begin!

              Dear lord!!!

Android 1.6 vs the newer 2.x?! WTF?!!!

              Typical SE!!
It's so FRIGGIN' late in manufacturing and selling their phones, by the time the phone ACTUALLY arrive in stores, it's OUTDATED!!

WORSE, SE STILL CHARGES A PREMIUM PRICE FOR THEIR OVERPRICED AND OUTDATED PHONES!!

              Goodbye, SE!
              One less SE owner!

Too many SE Fanboys STILL "ride the SE wagon AFTER the horses have left the stable"!

SE's financial troubles are caused by SH*T like this!

BTW... Can SE make their phones any SMALLER?!!
Who are the phones meant for, Children?!?!?!?!

Sony Ericsson Aspen...the Nokia E71 wannabe, yet nowhere near it. SE's really starting to lose it. A 2.4-inch TOUCHSCREEN? Oh, please!

Once N-series is a killing phone but not now.
                  Now the turn for Xperia.
Nothing can live up to the expectation of the geeks-same goes for the
                  names of the phones too.
Nothing wrong done by SE like they done before.
SE is Back to the stage ,thats what "VIVAZ" showed.

Its good that SE has started releasing the qwerty and non-qwerty versions of the same phone, aimed at the bigger market share.

Would love the release of the X10 with teh X10Pro versions together with 720 HD capabilities.

Hoping the Minis gets released soon with good price tags and less buggy software.

Its good that they stick with a OS platform which is tried and tested, like Nokia and Samsung, with varied models supporting for the same Software platform with varying features.

The Mediascape UI for Android, The x-panal in Aspen and Xperia x2 with the WindowsOS, and the Satio for the symbian s60 UI. SE can deploy various form factors with varying hardware capabilities with these tried and tested platforms with less evasive tinkering which leads to the bugs infestation problem that SE has been hampred with for so long now.

Good luck with SE for bringing the technology to the mid-range devices of the Walkman X-series, PSP phones and Cybershot series calabers.

I know some would comment on size, but I'd love to see an X10 pro (no mini)! You would think something along those lines would be in the pipeline?

Sony Ericsson's BEST showing at MWC since 2007, this is just so much more appealing than the over used 4 plus inch slabs. Smartphones ae turning into computers now, and companies are forgetting that the masses, not geeks like us (sme of us anyway), aren't after huge touchscreen phones with 1GHZ processors and ARM8 or whatever, as if yor mother/grandfather/grandmother/ or the less tech savvy consumer will want all of that. At the same time SE make very good phones, it's just that they release them like 12-15 months after the announcement and are priced ridiculously, and when they are rushed to market they are filled with bugs, but I've used many SE's and I can assure you, thier music players and cameras are second to none. Thier build quality is THE best on market, sorry Nokia/Samsung and Crapple.

If SE keeps the price point low enough on these cute little suckers they are going to sell like hotcakes. With their small form factor and wacky colors these are obviously aimed at the youth/female market.Phones in this lower end category are usually fugly and these phones will bring some stylishness to that segment.I saw this might just save your bacon SE!
