SE, wake up
although im a totally nokia, but i really dont want to see SE move into wrong direction. Just concentrate on making good phones, good pricing, nice battery, nice OS, using micro SD, nice camera with xenon. I usually believe that SONY is a great brand and im sure they can make a better ones compare to this.

Too bad they marketed this as a premium phone. It would have had tremendous sales if they sold it as a normal dumbphone.

The concierge service is probably a waste. If you have the money for this phone, you probably already have a high end credit card (like AMEX Platinum or Black Card) that offers a decent concierge service. Why would you rely on a concierge service tied to your phone?

To showcase their "technology," SE have, unfortunately, thrown usability out of the door. It would've been fine if it was a prototype unit, but to be using this display on a phone that's intended for production...
Well, whoever's planning on purchasing the Pureness, I'd suggest you start scheduling regular visits with your optometrist, because all the straining that you're going to have to go through to read the information on screen is going to definitely be bad for your eyes.

let me get this str8, SE is marketing the pureness as a luxury phone but they used cheap materials? also the screen is hard to read outdoors. only an idiot wud buy this. its a rly useless phone but its not what u wud expect from a luxury phone either. the transparent screen is a nice idea but if its hard to read, then they hv not done a good job producing it and ppl shud lose interest in it shortly, or even get annoyed at it. SE have made much better phones before. to me this is a step back for SE.

Useless phone, no doubt. But its the technology that matters, that no other phone company can boast of.
I'd like to have one, but I'm a poor boy and has to settle for Sony Ericsson W810 & Naite.
Cheers SE. They make the best phones with the best software. Alas, fans of all other companies will never know of.

I thought it was one of those illuminated pocket magnifiers that used to be popular for people with poor sight so they could read a book, they were useful. Not sure what market this device would be aimed at?
Have they run out of gimmicks to peddle their wares?

After the BlackBerry 8520, the SE Pureness is one of the most beautiful phones ever constructed. I am on a budget so I have the Chinese version of this phone. Although I do not use it on a daily basis it is amazing to look at.
