Tank you GSM Arena for a great review.
Most high end phones still cost more than a Netbook. So if a phone lacks anything function wise it should always be noted by the reviewer.

Looking at teh spec sheets for Legend and Desire, I simply cannot see any differencce at all between these two phones, except RAM differences.
Anyone know what the differences are?

jj, 25 Mar 2010I don't get it, a phone is supposed to dial numbers at best... morethat is so true, for many people those aren't really disadvantages at all, and like you say if they wanted that connectivity get a camcorder or dslr

I don't get it, a phone is supposed to dial numbers at best you can put music on it and surf the net but really to expect or to say its disadavantages are no dviX and no xvid or tv out port is really silly what do you need all that for, its a mobile phone, you should expect such from your tv and dvd not a mobie phone. If you want awesome vids get a cam corder dedicated to such, if you want more pixels get a digi cam dedicated to such.

I notice there is still a slight pinkish tint at the center of the photo, though is not as serious as the previous case, but would like to know if this will happen to all HTC phone with 5MP camera. It seem like it is a hardware problem.

okay..since now we know Legend's strong and weak points, we should hear about Desire's. Cause Samsung really has an Ace on it's sleeve (BEAM & I9000S)

good handset -i should say- ,but should not be only 70$ cheaper than htc desire, it should cost maximally 500$ not more with that screen resolution (230X320)

The price diff between it and the HTC Desire makes no choice.

I didn't realise there was no shutter button for the camera on the side!

Also you know where it talks about the maps having so many downfalls.. is it down to android itself? or will the desire fix those problems?
Or is it just the google maps pre-installed, as it does say i can pick a diff navigation software in the market

eg: "it is better than nothing but you still have to rely on network data for downloading the map info. Unfortunately, the pinch-zooming was unavailable on the Legend and you will have to live with the on-screen controls and double-tap zooming."

You didn't try the Bluetooth? Several users complain about it's extremely low range, they're not able to use a headset and keep the phone in the pocket.
