Good going SE.
Are you guys mentally ill or something?
You have the nerve to make connectivity using an antiquated fast-port connection, but even worse...you don't even include a data cable.
You better pray to the mobile phone Gods that the X10 does very well, or you might as well chain the doors at SE.

It seems that this phone doesn't have document viewer (e.g. .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf, even .docx, .xlsx, .pptx).
Worse still, still using the proprietary Sony Ericsson Fast Port instead of the microUSB and the 3.5mm jack.
If the feature phones from Sony Ericsson in the future can have the above-mentioned enhancements, the Sony Ericsson feature phones with its insanely great A200 OS (and its UI) will definitely defeat the Nokia S40-based feature phones and the others.
The below may be a little off topic but worth a watch:
As I am a former Sony Ericsson K750i (Sony Ericsson A100 OS) user, and now the Nokia 2700 classic (S40 5th Edition, FP1) user, I can say that the Nokia S40 OS really sucks, its poor UI design always misleads users and the logic of S40 is really stupid.
For example, if I receive a call from someone I don't know. When the call ends, its number will appear in the call log, right? Let's say we want to save the number we don't know into the phone book, after saving, the phone number from someone I don't know in the call log is still showing its number, rather than the name I give it in the phone book. That just doesn't make sense at all.
Furthermore, the S40 UI always have a scroll bar on the right side of the screen, completely nonsense.
Apart from that, S40 cannot run more than one task except their Music Player and Radio. Ironically, the Music Player and Radio just can't be controlled, only can they play in the background because the S40 design is lack of a shortcut button to act as the task manager.
What's more, I am a Mac user and the support for the Mac just isn't enough, totally fail as the company claims to be the world market leader and provide great customer service.
I bought Nokia 2700 classic for the transition period from Sony Ericsson K750i to iPhone. (I haven't had enough money to buy an iPhone but also wanted to change the K750i as it is quite thick, but K750i is sure a great phone). I thought I've made a wrong decision... I think Sony Ericsson Naite J105 would be better than this phone. But It is sad that Sony Ericsson doesn't offer phones as cheap as Nokia.

What does 'limited Wi-Fi receiver range' in the review really means?
Thanks.

No 3.5mm audio jack = No buy. Hopefully this is the last SE phone using the fast port.
Although I am reluctant to admit it I secretly wish that SE will come right and make phones that can compete with Nokia, Samsung and LG.

I actually quite like this design.
The bottom heavy look must be great to type with.

I think this could be a winner for SE - I had a play with it today in the o2 store while checking out the x10 (not as impressed as I thought I would be, but Timescape is cool!) and it's got an amazing feature set for a phone that is £100 or so on PAYG. Wi-fi, GPS, an excellent 5mp camera & led flash, good keypad etc etc - bargain!

And here I thought April's Fool day was April the 1st...
Hard to believe they managed to make a solid-built phone with reasonable price, great audio quality (without 3.5mm jack?), wifi, nice camera ect. Will wait till it hits retail to check myself.

Shame, decent specifications, but very plain and boring phone design. I like my phone to have an interesting design, the Elm is just too plain and conservative.
