28 April 2010
The LG GD880 Mini is a looker. Quite the way to start really, but the Mini isn’t all about looks. From the hardware design through the high-res screen to the software – everything was crafted by skillful hands. Beauty is function in design – nothing is more complex than it needs to be, but beneath the deceptive simplicity there’s a myriad of functions...

HW looks nice, 3.2" with 480x845.
BUT software sucks big time. Who on earth would by this phone with such crappy OS.

Nice design, shame on the software and hardware specs. If they'd bothered sticking in a OS with more application support onto more capable hardware that doesn't lag they'd have a winner.

This is from the GSM ARENA preview: "Image quality is is quite nice. Blacks are not as good as AMOLED but are great for a TFT unit. Sunlight legibility is not on an iPhone level, but it’s pretty close (easily the best among LG touch phones".

And this is from the GSM ARENA review: "The black colors are deep enough, but sunlight legibility is unimpressive – it’s on a level with the LG Arena".

            What'h'hell?!?!

LG a company trying to compete with the others in a very competitive mobile market, but they have never moved up to the next stand,an LG might impress the younger generation because of there cheap hansets, but why do they always let there phones down it really amazes people, there better be a shake up at lg or they will end up winding themselves up

It's the same crappy and buggy OS in some new clothes with the same buggy "S-Class" and the same worse built hardware like the damned LG KM900 Arena!
