I'm planning to buy Nokia 6700s for my mom but little confused whether to but she uses only for making calls n uses to slide phone can anyone suggest it to buy??

wot a great phone..5mp camera great quality,can use a converter to 2.5mm port to 3.5mm and a good quality try this ...good video quality and best foe budget

I have this phone. Terrible. Actually terrible. Good until it breaks. First one of these was broken the minute I got it with the speaker not working, internet not working, messaging not working, camera, both front and rear, not working. I took it back and I got a replacement. My new one never worked from the start with the back light would turn itself on and off. Soon the rest of the phone screwed up. Internet only works when it wants to, messages in my inbox takes 1-2 minutes to open, font will not change size, battery only lasts a day. Don't buy this phone. It is the worst phone I have ever had. Absolutely useless.

And about the camera, to you all who upgraded from 3mp or 2mp snappers:
A large sensor needs steady hands to deliver what it promised otherwhise it can be as blurry as a photo that came from a 2mp camera.

I own it, it's sharp, I've got it syncing with my computer, the UI is good, messaging in particular is cool, the standby screen design is pretty handuy.

All I want/need: a pretty purple or deep red phone that does not look cheap, small size, great 5MP camera. This phone is perfect for my personal socializing needs.
What I wanted but didn't get: Super long battery life. Standby of this is 2-3 days with moderate use. My work phone E72 lasts 7 -10 days standby before it drains.
Dont care about: Music and wifi so this is perfect for my second phone.

I hate using the keypad, it feels cheap, it would have been better with a volume rocker.

wat is it with nokia, they never create a complete handset, the C5 is a excellent fone, but, Fixed lens? only 2.2 inch screen?
This phone is same 2.2 inch? i have seen phones cheaper with 2.4, 2.6 inch. NO WIFI on this one? 2.5MM HEADJACK???? WHO USES 2.5?? Nokia build a COMPLETE phone.

wake up Nokia! you must add WiFI to your phones ... not only E-series...If Sony Ericsson would free (lifetime) its GPS navigation sofwtare...you won't longer competitive!

I find that the 5 MP carl Zeiss camera can have much better pictures than what I am getting in this model. I bought this phone for ease of taking pictures from mobile and I feel that my earlier N73 - 3.2 MP was better than this
