Carl Zeiss is always better than the other camera lens producers. But Nokia 6700 slider has only 4 hours of talk time....and also have the so called arm processor and S60 operating systems which are very useful but not very fast indeed along with the Java or Flash lite OS. For basic users who doesnt use so many features without fb or twitter or some steps meter and also the 5mp camera....the Hazel is the best. Sy S60 is not for the basic users at all...

gotta admit though for all the progress made in recent full touch form factor phones,it's a bit both surprising and disheartening when seeing a SE slider keeping it simple and yet able to do full Flash.i think there's a good lesson here.good job SE.

nice phone.
it's glad to know that there are low/mid range phones that still have front facing camera for video call.
but, wait, no User Guide / User Manual in the box?
it's very dissapointing.
coz that means, it won't pass our country's regulation.

In final words it is stated Elm does not offer Wi-Fi, which is wrong. Elm includes this functionality indeed.
I have an Hazel and I can say I'm pleased with its performance and pack of functionalities. I'm not sure you can find a better featurephone for this price.
Nevertheless, if you're not dying for the 2.6' screen, I think Elm can be a better deal since its much more compact and packing almost the same functionality.

Another great phone from Sony Ericsson. A lot of people still looking for this kind of device. Even if the market is infested with cheap touch screen from Nokia and Samsung.

Sony suppose to be a Top Electrical retailer for Stereos an Hi-Fi,but why does nearly every Sony Ericsson mobile have such weak loudspeakers on them ,its totally odd ,an if they do not change there ideas soon this company will end up,winding up an its there own fault for letting the mobiles down, they said there sales were falling an this just shows why,Satio below speakers an no Equaliser,Vivaz really below par Speaker,an now i heard X10 speakers weak an now this one,Totally a very big mistake indeed

Some candybars are worth your thought too - the Sony Ericsson Elm and Nokia 6700 classic. Both of them are feature phones, and both have great 5-mepgapixel autofocus snappers. There's plenty of metal used on both of them too. Like the rest of the competitors so far, they don't bring along Wi-Fi support and have smaller displays. On the other hand, they are cheaper than the Hazel.

Guys, SE Elm does have Wi-Fi and does not have PLENTY of metal. If you are not that much into the stuff, at least check your own site for the specs before your type...

the most important points for me: superb audio quality (don't care with feeble phone speaker) and nice display, good work SE, thanks for the reviews gsmarena.
