"keyword here is "WITH" , I said "GPU" without including the processor."

Do you really think just Cortex-A8 1GHz CPU can render, let's say, 10M triangles/sec? No, I don't, although it is very true that only-GPU does not work itself.

I think everyone except for you would say 89M triangles/sec is mostly GPU-powered. As you said before, same here, I AM TALKING ABOUT GPU ONLY. And I know AP, SoC, and GPU. Oh sorry, I forgot to write "GPU" at the very last sentence on last comment.

BTW, if Samsung boosts the clock of the GPU with their 45nm tech, then the theoretical spec skyrockets, doesn't it? :D

Its barely reach 20fps, remind you it have 1ghz cpu..? Why video quality was so worse.. I think you get the answer. So N8 also lag because it is in very early firmware..

          The N8 is not even remotely close to the caliber of this phone, I think its a very unfair comparison but clearly the N8 is pretty inferior on both hardware and software aside from its 12Mpixel Camera. About time I dump nokia!

                  If Nokia N8 has better GPU then why are these games running laggy:

                  the first game is smooth but its litle laggy. Asphalt game is laggy espessially when he uses the nitro. And the golf game is the laggiest.

                  And then look at this games running on the Galaxy S:

                  I think that Android takes better advantage of the GPU even if N8 has better GPU. I think the N8 GPU is busy running the OS.

                    Seems like this phone delivers well on the specs. Too bad the iPhone rip-off in design is so off-putting. That and the reputation Samsung has with it's software still makes me very skeptical, although I don't want to be.

                        GSMArena : 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird CPU; 512 MB of RAM

                        Update 24 May: Initially our phone reported to have 256 MB of RAM memory, but after seeing so many sources claiming that the Galaxy S has 512 MB we contacted Samsung to clear this out for us. It turned out the Galaxy S will hit the shelves with good 512 MB of RAM on board.

                        Samsung is the best .

                            Wave's SoC = Galaxy S's SoC = S5PC110 Hummingbird that has 89M triangles/second. Currently [THE BEST] MOBILE GPU.

                                        because Android and Symbian^3 operate differently. Android UL runs on CPU not on GPU only the games run on GPU for android.

                                        Symbian^3 uses GPU for UI. So It doesn't need that much CPU speed(better one, wont hurt anyways) I was talking just about GPU.
