Sony Ericsson Aspen review: Tree-hugging business

08 July 2010
The Aspen may well be the phone you’re least likely to expect from Sony Ericsson. To begin with, it’s a PocketPC but shuns comparison to the XPERIA line. On a second thought though – it’s a concept that can be traced way back in...

Compared to the E71, it looks outright ugly. I would call it Beauty vs the Beast. From the two, the E71 is the better deal. Either that, or the E72. S60 may not be the choice for many, and I agree it IS somewhat clunky and outdated, but it's better than WinMo.

I was interested in this phone but it seems to be delayed & there are other options whose price has come down (in India) so for this phone to succeed it will have to match those prices, which seems doubtful as SE products are usually high priced in India (so far).

'USB 2.0 connections are supported as well, through a microUSB port. When connected to a computer, the XPERIA X2 prompts you to select among ActiveSync, Mass Storage or Modem mode.'

Tsk tsk tsk another case of a copy-and-paste review.

I would like to buy this phone when it is available. I like the combination of the full qwerty keypad and the touchsceen. The phone has both. I like that. Hope the price will be frienly as well, looking forward to it.

jatnaveenleo, 09 Jul 2010agree..display so small to be ashamed..Samsung Omnia Pro B7... moreThere isn't really much difference between 240x320 and 320x320 (like B7330) But i would still choose 240x320 because of the compatibility in apps. Unlike in 320x320 which is almost scarce to none.
