Nokia C6 review: A playful character

28 July 2010
Yesterday’s high-end is the new midrange we like to say. The Nokia C6 has almost exactly the same features as the Nokia N97 mini but hangs a big Sale sign. Time to shop for high-end features off high street. The C-series are trying to distill the Nokia knowledge...

Nokia is constantly delaying the release of this cell...

first they plan to release in June 2010,
then they revised and plan to release in first week of September 2010,
Then again they revised and said it will release in last week of September 2010,
Now latest blog says it will release in October 2010...

I am confused will it release in India or Not....

I was wondering to buy a smart phone with touchscreen & good quality music system in cheap rate. I was confused among Nokia 5530, Nokia 5230 & Nokia C6.
Now I've taken decision & I'll go for Nokia C6.

My suggestion to all- go yo your nearest Nokia showroom & Take the white one.
The white one looks smarter than the black.
          So go for it....

Looks like a Motorola Droid Knock-off. Bad attempt from big Nokia. Try to be a little bit more original

just a combo of 5800,5230 n n97 i think this set is the most disappointing thing for nokia fans this year audio is good but battery back up is average 5mp auto cam is average over all if u have lots money buy it if u want value for money i don't say to buy ............5230 -is batter and cheaper option to enjoy 3g full touch screen n lots of stuff.

just funny model. why not drop down price of n97 ? and some one told nokia/symbian that you need change ui not just model names. still symbian user using old ( as far as i or other general peoples) ui. for e.g. just open menu in landscope you get lots of free space between option and exit button. and another point in regular use when menu open why big menu title ....
                                THIS IS TOUCH AREA
another point peoples buy what they need. not just 12mp camera with ........ useless features.

                                some most needed points
                                1. xvid inbuilt support
                                2. avi file support
                                3. new ui for touch(if nokia understand what touch mean)
                                4. great built design
                                5. change of note pad in extra features.mostly save in txt or format
                                6. change width from 52 to 60 mm for full key board in general use.
                                7. more battery
                                8. capacitive screen (more for extra need)
9.faster ui when you install some needed apps.
                                10. good support like os update in limit.
                                11. good theme developer softwares. if you are theme developer then you understand what i mean. s60v5 has more than 10 models with deferent elements. when i change internate folder in carbide ui thats not change in your phone of s60v5. some one change realplayer icon please.....
ALL THSESE ARE JUST SAMPLES WHAT NEED TO DO.
NOKIA NEED THINK WHAT NOW NEED !!!!!!!!!!

From my experience I can tell Nokia phones have high-quality sturdy build. The same can't be always said about SE :(
What you have to do is to visit a shop where you can actually try both phones, how they "sit" in your hand.

Well so far I've been right on the money...Avid Nokia users with acceptable tech knowledge I count as friends these days always ask me the same thing and my answer stays the same "Don't buy anything if it's NOT Symbian^3.And if you still need to tweak something get the N900".When they push for elaborations I simply say that Nokia's track record of screwing new users with 5 yr old tech, mismatched hardware against even current Symbian versions used as sys req. It's that simple. They think that they can get away with it by slapping a capacitive screen on the X6 for 1 model but for the rest, quite a few knew better. Why can't 528Mhz clock speed and 512Mb internal RAM be the new standard for midrange? Why stick to the same cost cutting measures? It's just baffling and utterly ridiculous.People don't buy phones like they buy underwear.
