In my country (Bulgaria) the C6 is more expensive than the: Vivaz Pro, X10 mini Pro, N97, N97 mini, LG GW620(by 100 euro!) and Motorola Milestone. Probably the price will drop, but right now it isn't the promised bang for the buck :(

yes only samsung galaxy S, samsung wave and nokia N8 the only capacitive screen that have handwriting feature,but...using finger???
i will very impress if u can draw a tiny line accuratly using capacitive screen.
other option is using capacitive stylus,and how much it will cost?
handwriting is a good feature especially if u r in meeting room and writing on the memo at ur phone,if u typing the screen how fast u can type without actually looking the screen?if ur watch the screen and typing other people will think that u were texting sms or email and it very anoying for the speaker.
so handwriting still a need for office worker,i never brought my notes since im using m600i,and it save the wood in the forest and help the world to be a better place XD
for school boy handwriting is not a must feature,but if u really look into it,that feature is very important.
for the future smartphone,i hope they will create better capacitive screen with handwriting,because resitive screen really not comfort to use with finger and the colour is not good enough and not scratch prof.
capasitive or resitive screen have their own advantage.

Benz, 29 Jul 2010Hello. I jut want your opinion before i buy a new phone. I ... morebetter choose another phone if u need to watch movie with ur phone.
3,2 inch screen is not that comfort to enjoy.specially with TFT resitive screen. X10mini also not a good phone for watching movie,the screen will be to small for ur eyes.
u also have to think bout battey life too.
my 5800xm last for 2-3hours watching mpeg4 movie.it maybe close enough with C6.
if watching movie is ur primary needs than i think u have to aim for amoled screen for better colour quality and battery life.
is not a WOW experience watching movie on 5800xm and i think it will be the same for C6 and worst at x10mini for it small screen size.
the only plus for 5800xm is u can use TV-Out to use ur tv for bigger screen.but i dont know if c6 have tv-out too.

Typing with the bloody thing is absolute torture, which is why I don't carry the POS with me when out and about and can expect to be forced to do any kind of communicating with it. I keep it at home as it's ok for browsing the web while lazing on the sofa.
However, when I need a phone/a device to communicate with, I take my E72 10 times out of 10. Touchscreen-only devices, especially those with a capacitive screen, suck major schlong in this respect, and are mostly sought after by teenagers and others who are interested in things like watching movies on their phone.

one of reviewer in indonesia said that the device has quick office edit ??? So defferent region has defferent service?? Or is an mistake from indo reviewer ?? any idea ?? Cause i dont bought this phone i,m waiting the nokia c7 or e7,

some ppl might dying to get a QWERTY and ignore the better camera,sound quality n touchscreen that X6 offer.. most probably they already have a ipod or DSLR camera on their hand..

Thans for answer. I definitely agree with you in case of home screen. Free lifetime navigation is another good argument for me. Usable video is quite important for me, but SE can HD, but color look better on C6 to me. C6 have old hardware and look cheap for similar price, but software equipment like voice commands. C6 have unconfort dimensions and weight but better keypad according to review. I have iPod for games and want some not expensive phone with qwerty. C6 and u8i are so similar and so different at same time. Hard picking for me:-)

X10 Mini is really, really small! It does not seems such from photos, but when you can have it in your hand, it is a tiny phone, maybe good for small Asian girls :)

Probably C6 because of the better (for me) home screen, which is quite customizable and displays diary entries. As I have some experience with SE Satio, I can say its home screen is not good for such things. All nice colours, animations etc., but this makes the phone a nice toy, not a thing for business.
I also trust Nokia more regarding the quality of photos.
But maybe instead of C6 I'd choose N97 mini, if has more of that luxury feeling to it and the screen size is the same (and also probably a better flash).

Hello. I jut want your opinion before i buy a new phone. I am choosing between C6 and xperia x 10 mini pro. The c6 is cheaper than the xperia, larger screen,but i don't like how cheap it looks. The x10 mini pro is cute, but, is it good to surf the net or watch vids in it? I want a cool phone, ince i already have an ipod touch, i'm not really into music or web browsing in my phone. Thankss

Why to choose c6?
Nokia x6 has better camera,better music,better screen(capacitive).
What is with c6? a qwerty keyboard,better widget oriented home screen,better flash support.
I this way Nokia x6 is way better.
Can any one justify why to choose c6 instead Nokia x6.

Ant handwriting recognition is not a problem also, my samsung wave has it (also capacitive screen) only you have to draw with finger o special stylus.

But I think you miss one word on page 7 (7. Web browser, organizer).
On that page, it says 'Mobile office is also very well geared, with preinstalled applications able to open Word, Excel and PowerPoint files seamlessly.', it misses the word 'PDF'! Small mistake though.

I have a 5230 and there is no Activenotes preinstalled. Perhaps you need to sign the sis/sisx you find online? I haven't tried searching for it.
