Nice job HTC. Classy designs compared to the new Nokias. The build quality looks quite solid as well.

too bad that the T-Mobile G2(Desire Z) wont have HTC Sense on it.... its advertised with vanilla Froyo(v2.2). Waiting for the MyTouch HD(which seems like Desire HD).

@peter ...dude camera is not everything..i own a dslr and phone cameras can never reach that quality..a normal user will not find any difference between 8mp(desire hd) and 12mp(n8) phone cameras..most importantly android with sense ui is slap on nokia's face..stale symbian os sucks...how can you even compare nokia to htc?phew

As a Htc Desire user their is a few things i would like to see in the HD Desire. the battery really need to be looked at in short it is the worst phone battery i have ever had. Please dear Lord could you ditch the brown of the phone. And one of my personal gripes is i dont understand is how the lower featured phone is styled with more care the higher featured phone, i may be missing something but hasnt the desire sold the most and yet when it comes to making the upgrade compared to the Desire Z as in the desire Vs Legend the Desire Z looks better.

Please, please Htc sort out your crap battery

                            Very weak products.

And 4.3" screen is too big to be comfortable to carry it around.

It really bugs me that Desire HD comes with a normal LCD.. that's a real letdown.. minimally it needs SLCD or AMOLED, or best Super AMOLED, no wonder the screen looks dull even compared to Desire Z with SLCD..

Let's metion that the HD has the new 8255 Snapdragon with the Adeno 205 GPU, built on 45nm process (vs Adeno 200 built on 65nm for Desire and Nexus One)

This means 4 times the GPU performance, accelerated Flash and lower consumption.
