As a Photographer, I disgust this comparison. Cars should be compared with Cars, Not neither Vans nor Cabs.
Get a life, Sony is best as it's a P&S with blacklight. BUT Both Nokia and Samsung are just camera phones. Compare those with any other Camera Phone.
I call this "Epic Fail"

Now this sounds strange. May not result in a right comparison. Photos which look good, may not always represent TRUE colors in reality. Only person who has taken the photos can tell which photo managed to get TRUE colors in reality.

I want to know if I guessed correctly, so I'm writing my guess here.
I like A best on pictures 2, 3 and 5. C's background (edges on the text photo for example) are blurred slightly, while both A and B have sharp picture both on the edge and in the center. B has problems with color balance, seems to add too much blue-green (aqua? don't know how to call it) color to most (if not all) shots. A and C seem to have better colors and its hard to tell much difference between them on pictures of buildings made from a distance, but not when you shoot something 1 meter away from the camera.

come onnnn, 06 Oct 2010There is no need for satio vs N8..
It has already lost to ... moreNow, I'm being completely neutral here. But. Don't think that the Pixon12 is such an obvious winner compared to the Satio. While I really enjoyed that 12MP shootout between those 2 cameraphones, I also noted that GSMArena said:
"Having put the cameras to so many tests, we can safely conclude that the Pixon12 beats the Satio in terms of image quality. The output is better in the elements that we consider most important for producing better shots in real life scenarios." Hence, the Pixon12's output is better in the elements that the GSMARENA TEAM consider most important. It's not representative of the whole picture-taking population.
FURTHER:
"Yet picking a winner between those two cameraphones is anything but easy. The Satio has its own strong points and we know picture quality is only one part of the general experience. Besides, the difference is not that great so it's completely up to the user to decide what compromises can be made." The GSMArena Team wrote that the difference in image quality between these 2 is not so big so we can infer that some people would prefer the Satio to the Pixon12. For example, I can say that people who like post-processing their pictures prefer them to be more natural-looking whereas the average camwhore is likely to want more vibrant, 'contrasty' and saturated shots to avoid post-processing them before uploading them to Facebook.
AND:
"So in conclusion, if you have only scanned the article to find the winners in different categories we suggest you go back and pay more attention - at least to the tests that matter most to you. Only then will you be able to decide which camera will suit you better depending on what is really important to you." Again, the GSMArena Team has mentioned that there is no clear winner. Whether you like the Pixon12 or the Satio more is entirely up to you. They are just producing a guide to help you make your choice.
Therefore, may I request the excellent GSMArena Team to perform another superb cameraphone shootout after this blind shootout? You don't have to start from scratch either - Just add in the same pictures taken by the N8 into your Pixon12 vs Satio shootout and add some text to the article! Update it, that's all. Please and Thank You!

I like nokia from experience (n82). My samsung galaxy s is ok because once you zoom in the picture it gets blurry. Lack of flash doesn't really help either (vibrant).

Well said bro, I totally agree !
this comparison should be between the satio vs n8, all of us know that samsung are not good in cameras as se.
samsung beats se with screens, but with cameras they are really bad.

Here are my choices and comments about them below:
1. C - (Lots of details and produced more natural looking shots than the other two competitors)
2. A (Slightly worse than the C but still managed to impress with the level of resolved details and color rendering)
3. B (Overprocessed. Might seem better to an untrained eye for the vibrant colors but in my personal opinion and judgement, It's the worst among the rest. Evidence of color saturation/correction is pretty noticeable and the noise suppression is ruining the fine details)

Oooh come on gsmarena, stop praising samsung, this is getting very annoying! OK I admit the galaxy s is the best phone in the market today and I love samsung for it. But the camera is terrible!
I know from experience that the best camera in the market is the satio! And most of se phones really have great cameras! samsung are not that good in cameras at all!
And even a child can know that :
c = sony camera
a= n8
b = pixon ( which is the worse) !
so we are looking for a real competition between :
satio vs n8
