i read this post on samsung galaxy s's fanpage on fb--got galaxy s and im about to throw it off the wall, big problem with gps and internet connections, crashes a lot and have to turn off wifi every time i want to do something!!!! other than that it would be a great phone!! plus most of the newest phones came out with flash...

there are always nega and positive comments to a new device and that makes me believe that theres no such thing as a perfect gadget. in the end its always the consumers' discretion which product to buy. im just glad no matter how many mean things they say about the N8, the positive features always prevail.nokia should take those nega comments as inspiration in improving their products...theres no single product that has all the features or the things they want...

Clint, 09 Oct 2010"Haha this will never match Iphone 4, HTC Desire, Sams... moreactually i found that my nokia 5800xm is not complex enough, thats the only reason i bought winmo device.it fail to do RDM and VNC and network file browse and not complex enough to be customized.
and i dont believe people buy phone just for calling and text anymore.
yes symbian is great with keypad phone and good with camera, but today more people find out its just not enough for touch screen phone and im really disappointed with their latest OS.
today lifestyle and works demand more not only for call and text, sometimes we need to do some work in the bus, car, shopping center or cafe, browse file from virtual storage etc. and symbian not moving into that direction.
it still playing in megapixel battle and multimedia power, not growing more functionality with online application and network. its great to have bluetooth mouse and keyboard with n8 but it will be useless if n8 doesnt have a good browser and good user interface to work with.
im not nokia hater cause i really do have their 5800xm and installed with costume firmware, and i think N8 its a great phone if u put it in multimedia terms or cameraphone but now n8 competitors not playing only in that area, they put stronger afford in OS and UI integration to internet, network, virtual hard drive, syncing, modern apps using phone sensors and touch centric. while nokia making touch phone but with keypad phone in mind. im waiting this sym^3 and N8,reads so many things bout it and do research bout it too and after a long waiting,i see the same menu UI, lag pinch zoom at internet browser, lag picture browser like in 5800xm.
but if the reason to buy N8 just for the camera and video player, yes it is worthed.

[deleted post]No, it's because people want to know. Look at the "daily interest" chart on the front page. Almost twice as many views as the second phone.

I hate to say this...being symbian user for more than 7yrs.. Nokia got its 7710 even before other touch smartphones. I demoed N8 and its good for symbian like me.But ui should have been optimised to touch ie large& beautiful icons natively. Lag is there! But only in homescreens. I want more power in my symbian phone. I am more tilted to android but there is no provider support as nokia. Thats holding me. Now these gizmo phones are testing my loyalty towards nokia. Will symbian and nokia make a device for us that symbians feel secure among all those gizmos?!
