do you ppl know series 49 doesnt provide multi tasking ?its all not designed for that...programmed that way..just the music player might be an exception to that..so please stop criticizing the fone..

the specs in GSM Arena database said that it doesn't have front-facing secondary camera, but the review said it has one.
so which one is the correct one?

IMHO, they should make it more like SE G700.
it's a one of the good sample if you're looking for a nice combination between touchscreen and keypad use.

Always been a fan of simple, thin and sturdy bar form factor for standard telephony purposes. Touch means you don't need a d-pad taking up room, leading to a nicer keyboard and more intuitive web browsing - both big pluses.
Provided the phone stays in the sub-$200 prepaid price range, I reckon this is a good direction for Nokia's midrange lineup.

Low to Mid range Nokia's got it on lock no other manufacturer comes close. Wonder how they fail in the high end sector

Thanks for reviewing a phone that I would buy and use for more than 3 months. I have suffured through a steady stream of touch screen devices that are highly reviewed and just don't work for me. Mostly because touch screen phones do not mutitask. they require at 2 hands and two eyes to operate. Examples of multitasking failures; Try to hold a childs hand & call there mother with a touch screen phone, ask questions in a business meeting while typing a text message on the phone your holding in your lap, type a text message while carrying your luggage to customs in an interantional airport.
It looks to be an evolution of the S40 operating system making it very familiar. I would love to see e55 style keyboard on a s40 handset. The handset layout of keys & touchscreen is highly prevalenet in chinese markets. likely to be a result of the sheer number of characters in the "chinese alphabet".
although I am quite interested in this device I believe I will end up with C3-01 instead.

when i heard about s40 touch, i was skeptical, but i must admit theyre pretty good. nice love it

ex-Nokia N900 user here. X3-02 has become my primary phone, simply because it's light-weight ultra-slim device and it can play my xvid videos nicely. sometimes when i have an hour long break, i sit back and playback dexter tv show episodes with my headset on. the touch and keypad mix proved to be beneficial, the crappy d-pad was destroying the experience in conventional phones. the X3-02 is simply incredible little phone, really exceeded my expectations.

Another failure!!!
It's X series but still can't provide good quality sound & a 5mpx camera which is as worse as 5 mpx camera of x2.
When it comes to design it is completely chinese type.
The keypad is really the deal breaker.
On top of all this no multitasking & a higher price tag.

there is absolutely nothing innovative about the form factor (standard keypad and touchscreen). my 2 years old Sony Ericsson G900 is more better than this NOKIA in so many ways. Of course UIQ is terminated, but still many usefull applications are available.
Beasides the idea of placing '0'key on the right side give me a bad association of cheap - chineese mobile fake phones.
