One thing people havent touched upon is the main thing... Call quality! it is a phone after all, and boy does the c7 sound good. ive used alot of phones and the c7 call quality and speaker phone sound amazing, sure the phone isnt the loudest but on full vol not one pop just pure clarity. also updated to anna which makes the phone a joy to use. this OS really manages memory really well with not one "out of memory message" its a work horse simple as that. best nokia phone ive used (with anna)

i cant find d fm transmeter in my nokia c7. How cn i gt it? Therz no such app in my phone.

Trust me man i bought my c7 3 months ago. Its working great .At 1st it had only 3 home screens now has 6 home screens ( google it if u want to know how.no hacks needed) then again lot of apps are there in ovi store but i dont use it much.I prefer n8fanclub.com it has a lot of premium apps for free that u can download.Camera 8 mp , 720pHD video recording,Social network integeration (fb ,twitter(i use twitter) then again favorite apps on home screen(widget) widget to display sms , missed event notification, then cnn app widget,calendar, push mail,daily motion,E!,music,search,e reader(rss reader) widgets,lots more..Games:Hero of sparta,real golf,pro ev soccer, real football,cric t20 fever, nfs shift hd, asphalt 5 and 6 hd, dungeon hunter 2 hd, eternal legacy hd,avatar hd,assasins creed hd, Gt motor racing acadamy,sims 3,spider man hd, galaxy on fire, hawx hd,angry birds rio,season,extreme north,crusade of destiny,the settlers hd,majesty lite,burning tires,raging thunder 2,rollr coaster extreme,fruit ninja,iron sight hd, gravity guy,ebooks: qt enabled ebooks 20,000 leagues under the sun,adv of hucklberry fin...and also dorian epub reader(can search and download books directly from prjct guttenberg thru app) bubue books(epub reader),free photo and video editor, top apps to get premium apps for free in ovi store,epocam lite,pixscel smart office(view pdf,ppt and other format files also create new and edit fncnlty, 3d view)file hide,ipass traveller,best maps integeration,free zip extractor,adobe pdf,flash 4.1,recorder,exclnt file manager,dictnry,calculator,, you tube app,you tube downloader app,paramount movie teaser app, nokia trailers,nat geo yv,spb tv,Raaga,tune wiki,india today audio mag,cool music player,good gallery, goood video player(can supprt mp4,3gp,wmv formats,opera mobile browser(the fastest),linked in,skype,3g video calling9(no app needed),and with nokia hardware standards . Main problem is it will hang up.. all phones are like that. and second is it have purple tint problem. and 3rd problem is battery back not good.. just first ask your friend who are using the same.. pls go for android even its cost.. if you really buy this you will know after about this. thank you

Since gsmarena were so "kind" enough to list the disadvantages of the c7 as opposed to the n8, how about listing the advantages?
>Near field communication
>More rom memory
>Better video capture quality and video stabilization.
And the c7 has video zoom too, why is it listed as an n8 advantage?

yup...! c7 has an automatic swith off problem. i hav expirenced it on my phone n now its been send in nokia care. experts please suggest me on this.......this problem occured after a week fm purchased.....!

[deleted post]it all depends on what phones you have used before.if there weren't any with symbian,android will be better choice for you.also depends on what do you expect from the camera performance,if you want better camera,then the winner definitely is C7.

the nokia c7 is a kool fone,i wud say d sista of n8.i hav bin usin it for over a mth nw and its bin ok.with opera mini browser,d c7 is a mini-laptop wit electric fast browser.watchin movies is kool n d nokia headset is wickedly super.get ur c7 nw!!!

regarding the two speaker grills, is merely a cosmetic solution decided by Industrial Design to get a nicer look, not a 'naive' way to attract people. The product was meant since the beginning to have one speaker, and in the manual it's clearly specified that there is only one speaker.

Why do Nokia always skimp on important things recently? FIXED-focus camera? Two speaker grilles on the back but there is only one speaker? This is what puts me off Nokia these days..they make things look better than they really are -.-

Purchased a C-7 from "Mobile Store"-Kolkata (Dalhousie Branch)on 13/01/2011. Unfortunately the phone after a few days started to restart on its own after every few minutes. Showed the phone to Nokia workshop. They got me a replacement on 03/02/2011. After a few days use the problem reoccured even on the replaced set. Now I wonder whether its an inherient problem with C-7...??????

I have read a lot about C7, pros and cons. I'm buying it bcos their's no phone that can do everything and I find Nokia to be a very competitive smartphone among its pack. But I'll wait till after June b4 I buy it bcos I want to experience it first hand with symbian anna. NFC is also a plus.
