In the end it's pretty much obvious S Amoled wins hands down. It is not about music quality or camera quality which are pretty much objective and comes down to personal preference

Peace, get ur eyes checked or something.... or if u really wanna comment, then go read the whole comment post.... lolz! i was replying to some anonymous guy (such as urself) who said iPhone4 is in a different league altogether, then another anonymous guy said that the iPhone is not really a smartphone (technically speaking), then i was only joking about me buying a smartphone, as iPhone is not a smartphone, so i was right in not considering.... and it was a joke.... then u come in and say 'read' 'read' 'read' and even misread stuffs. and now u ask me my age? lolz, get a life dude.... dont bother to reply if u aint gonna bother to read the whole post, which i doubt u will. guess u must not b very happy that the iPhone4 u had is not 'excellent' in all categories eh?!?! and plz read carefully, as i nvr said iPhone4's screen was bad.... just stating what the reviewer said and if u dont like the review, dont blame me....

Think of it as being 4 times bigger than on the old iPhone and noone complained about that.
If it were AMOLED it would draw less power, so it's just an useless lightbulb.
Also if they had used resistive the screen wouldn't crack that easy.
This article puts iPhone on the same level with N8, but considering the cracking/scratching and the much higher power usage I say it deffinitley falls below.
Now it we're to think of the aspect ratio, it's a disaster, it's closer o an ancuent 4:3 TV than anything HD!

Weird huh, I guess its not saying much for true 'smartphones'. Surely they don't rate phones soley on asthetics???

anyway, still would rather go for a SGS due to its Android+sAMOLED combo! if Nokia can come out with an Android+SCB, then it's a different story.... ^_^

It's wierd though cas it does actually say if u 'read' the whole thing and not just look at the fancy table 'gal s or the ip4 for more res'
Also it does compare the other screens the the ip4's screen display on a number of occasions (why?) but that's only if u 'read' it.

Surely resolution should have been added and rated at the end.. It's probably the biggest factor in a screens display, personally I'd rather a higher screen res over contrast any day.

Rog, 30 Nov 2010I agree. The Super Amoled on the Galaxy S is amazing. Wow'e... moreSamoled blacks are good, but I think part of the "black" experience is that everything else is so bright. You would have to see CBD next to it to understand that the blacks can still be blacker. CBD does have better contrast in the end.

AMOLED is some how close to the LCD tech. however SuperAMOLED is far beyond all other tech.
Samsung is talking about SuperAMOLED II.
I couldnt realize how clear that'll be!
