How can you recomend a phone based only on specs (LG optimus one). You haven't done a review for this phone, yet you recommend it. why? Does it have a good audio quality!? how is the screen? call quality, etc.

        Awesome review again!!!!

Was using Galaxy S which is an awesome mobile. Only thing was that gps used to take hell long of time to lock and it had all plastic feel about it. Best thing was it's screen.

Bought N8, 2 days back. I like its feel, gps is good, screen is good(GalaxyS was better). Only play angry birds which is there, Camera is awesome. Don't like browser and want better email and facebook client. It is cheap compared to other mobile and is good value for money.

I think wave doesn't make it, because you can not get it in market anymore. My brother used that set and it was very good experience. He sold that to get X10 which he likes. Everyone who sees his handset in white color think it is better looking than even iphone4.

Can not afford Iphone4 for now. It is almost status symbol here in India. Though i think it is best gaming and music phone. But it is very delicate.

This is all what I think. In India we pay full price so case might not be same for you.

My opinion is that Nokia N8 really is the best phone mentioned. I like new Symbian...but it's VERY expensive. So my other choice would be C6-01--best price/phone ratio for this xmas.

Funny comment about the iphone 4, and some good honest points made about it.

Iphone 4 is the best music player out there, and has the best games. It's basically a media player with phone features. I can honestly say, that when upgrade, If I dont like the next iphone, I will be getting some other smartphone, and an ipod touch.

I would never give a Symbian-phone as a gift because it is a so completely outdated os and very NOT userfriendly, and definetly not a N8 because it is a very high risk that it will completely die because it is not until next year the "fixed" N8 start shipping to customers.
N8 was delayed for more than 6 months but they still did not have time enough to finish MeeGo for it or even test the hardware enough to prevent these complete deaths of the N8. Nokia have grown too big and started to think no other company ever could compete so they just stopped innovating, USB-on-the-Go is the only new "innovation" from Nokia in years now, and Nokia today simply is too big and too slow. N900 still is the best Nokia-phone ever, and it really is old. MeeGo is far behind Android so Nokia should join the Android-world, and every other phone-manufacturer have stopped using the outdated Symbian in their phones.
Give your friend an Android-phone, or an IPhone4!

see dude galaxy 3 is a very good choice.

BTW c6 and wave are different category. wave is a good (not great) smartphone but great multimedia performer. at same price, i will choose wave. and price is so cheap!

Anonymous, 05 Dec 2010Dead right on. I don't know what's gsmarena's rationale for... moreThe wave is not on the list because its not the best at any of the categories considered. Whats all the fuss about anyway. compared to the n8, galaxy, desire hd and the likes, its insignificant.

The wave is too expensive to win the budget smartphone category. It costs about the same as a nokia c7 which only was just released and really is comparatively not that smart. That title, in my opinion goes to the c6-01.

The best phone by gsmarena's criteria has nothing to do with price. Whats expensive for you may be change for others. And most users prefer big screens. I love my phones somewhere between 3.5 and 4 inches.

[deleted post]Yeah right. So you're saying, a phone on top should have a screen as big as a tv, carbon fibre body, and cost you both arms and legs, and specs so future proof it will never get obsolete after 20 years? I rest my case. I'm out of here.

For the skeptics, it's just a matter of taste and getting the best value for your money. And Wave hits the right spot.

[deleted post]well wave is good phone, but i am not sure how bada os is going to evolve... Limited app, gmaes..It has good infra though including ram and display quality.. Second thing is wave and n8 are not proper phones to compare.. You may like to compare samsung galaxy s, n8, sony xperia x10
