I had been using 6233 for 3.5 years and atleast thrice a week it gets hung and I had to restart to use it again. Now, it has some headset symbol in the main screen. And its with service center for the past 3 months. They are not able to find an IC which is to be replaced. There is no use of having service centers unless you are able to give the proper parts. I bought Wave after that and its working perfectly fine. Its 3rd day today and the battery is still 40%.
Dont blame any company unless you use their models. I am really satisfied with my Wave and so will be the other owners. Nokia CEO himself has told there are power issues with N8.
Dont know why you people compare it to TV remote. Do TV remotes play 720p videos, have 5mp cam with 720p video recording, Super AMOLED screen and most important, can they make calls? If Wave owners were dissatisfied, wont the rating of Wave come down and push it out of the top place?
I have never been a fanboy. I do read reviews before buying anything. I use Wave and I love every moment with it. I dont care about other Samsung or Nokia or Apple or whatever phones.

The wave is a good device but it sure as hell is not my cup of tea. Not that of many. My lil sis finds it too feminine. i think it looks like a tv remote. Plus bada? Thats no go if you're not in europe or india. Or if you've ever really used a symbian device. Besides, its a samsung. Don't get me started about customer support. Here in Nigeria, They advertise much more than any other brand. Bill boards all over the place yet they have less than 10 service stations nation wide and only those in Lagos and Abuja actually fix phones. Thats in a country of 160 million. For comparism, Nokia has at least 18 stations scattered around Lagos.

I own Samsung Wave and I should say I am having no problems with anything other than battery backup. But yesterday morning I charged it fully and at 10.53pm IST, when I checked the battery level, its 49%. That means, its battery backup got improved. And I am in BSNL 3G network 24X7.
I showed my Wave to everyone in my office and they are really amazed by the quality of the phone. I should say, see it to believe it. Unfortunately, its not available anywhere as per the comments I heard. There wont be any Wave user who will be regretting about purchase of this device.
I still believe the audio review given in mobile-review.com is wrong and they used a prototype or something since its written NOT FOR SALE. I am happy with my Wave, and I wont regret buying it. My only guess that Wave is not included in the list is that, since its not available for purchase, you wont be able to gift it to someone.

The n8 was once second on the ratings. That was until it ammased a little less than 10,000 votes in 6 days to drop off the list of top 15 mobiles.

I agree with all but the audio playback category. The n8 has better sound output and better battery life on music playback (50 hours) than the iphone 4 plus it has a micro sd slot usb on the go so you can easily copy mp3 from mp3 players!

And GSMArena didn't even mention Samsung Wave. Seems this only article is only targeted for American/European markets. Go find us a phone a with Wave's specs and PRICE. Around 310 euros or 410 USD contract free. Really GSMArena.

Also, the Samsung Wave mobile-review people used seems to be a pre-production version considering the NOT FOR SALE sticker which was pasted on its back.
Also, Wave has been leading the Gsmarena rating for the past 7-8 months. Is it because the model is really bad and still people give good ratings? It is around 0.4 points ahead of the second model for your information.
