Aargh, so many options to choose from. I think I will stick to the real Google experience though. My first non-Nokia phone (after 14 years) was the Nexus One; what a miracle phone compared to anything I'd used before, very much because of the pure Android OS. I'm pleasantly reminded of that any time I put my hands on any Samsung, HTC or Motorola device..
Still, the SGII looks like a cracker of a phone..
Aaaarghh, all these options.. :-)

Wow, this phone lacks so many features it's laughable. What is this, 2007?

john, 14 Feb 2011some phones better than nexus s 1 htc desire hd 2 htc de... moreWhat nonsense! The Nexus S executes smoothly. I haven't seen a Sony Ericsson do that yet. And an SD card and better camera doesn't really add much value to an improved user experience. Also the HTCs have this huge overlay which bogs down upgrades. Personally, I prefer stock - they just work so darn well! It's either iPhone or Nexus for me.

At least you know you will get sw updates. I will never buy an android from the likes of SE that cannot or will not update the sw of their phones (see the X10... the Arc will be the same, when android 2.4 or 3 comes along, the phone will not get it)

Nicely design...and it will come to most European country thanx to Vodafone...but not that good...I totally agree with GSMArena.A bit to late and Samsung is having issues with there SuperAMOLED screens so...Maybe even the Galaxy SL is a nicer option..btw I have heard that when in sunlight the capacitive buttons become near invisible...
Thumbs up for the competition!!!LG and Sony all the way!!!!!

No 720P is a huge dissapointment in a phone like this.
However im confident a firmware update can and will fix this. I really wanted this, but after seeing the Arc, S2,Optimus Black/2x and ATRIX id rather just holf off

Most of the people who have commented hasnt used this phone it seems. I have used it and its awesome. It is better than any of the current android phones. Am not talking about the phones that are not yet released though. We need to wait and watch how the other phones perform.

First of all, I am in no way a fan boy like a lot of people in here.
I waited for this phone and I can tell you that it is super fast running on T Mobiles 3g network. I was impressed by the speed and solid feel. Yes, it is plastic but very durable. I actually liked the phone until it started rebooting itself every time I had the music player running. It would shut off and delete my music until I had to restart the device. Also, when you took pictures and deleted them, they would re appear again. I had to delete them like 5 times in order for them to not show again. A lot of people had this problem. I was so upset with these 2 problems...So, I sold it on Craigslist and ended up purchasing a Nokia N8 (for the camera and music player) and boy did I regret that... I had the Nokia N8 for 2 days and I got the "Memory full" and would freeze all the time. So, after a week, i sold the N8 and got the Blackberry 9780. So far, Im happy with the BB. Android is pretty cool. The thing that sucked was that I could not dl HD Games from the Market. I guess Gingerbread was not supported yet. I am not a patient man, so i was not gonna wait for the updates from Google.
I will buy an Android device again... Probably the SAMSUNG GS2. I don't like HTC cause their camera and speakers are crap.
Pros on Nexus S:
LOUD SPEAKERS
GREAT GPS (YES, it worked fine)
Good camera
SUPER FAST on TMO
BEAUTIFUL DEVICE
GINGERBREAD (Although a lot of apps don't support it.... YET)
Cons:
Fingerprint magnet (you better carry a cloth with you)
Plastic!!!
No 720p HD recording
REBOOTS a lot (maybe it was the device)
If I were you... i'd wait for the Samsung Galaxy S2.

Big disappointment. They should have stayed with Htc for the second Nexus as well.

I've had my Nexus S for 3 weeks and it has yet to disappoint me. It's the best Android phone I ever used used. I don't know what you guys are talking about but It is such an awesome phone and can handle everything you throw at it. By the way I had a Nexus One before.
