Define how to use a smartphone? I wonder what else do you do with a "smartphone"? Control space satellites from your phone and take over the world? FYI, smart phones are an old term. Older gen of phones like Windows Mobile or Blackberry that ppl used to check emails, etc are smart phones. Phones nowadays should call Apps-phones. They allow users to install apps just like PC.
So, iPhone is just like other phones out there, except that it has a much smoother OS as compared to the Lag-Droid.

This samsung King of the Kings, but camera one of the crappiest hardware.
I must use Nokia N8 instead I9100 Galaxy S II.

the phone looks good but the 8.0 MEGA logo looks so cheep and nasty i could live with 8.0 but the would MEGA is so crude

Why Samsung did'nt improove the color tones of the camera for the s2?
The colors are not vivid & natural like the aple or the sonyerricson devices they bend towards red/brown/yelow colores like the old Agfa films or the old soviet movies...
They took an almost perfect smartphone and spoiled it with an not impresive camera. After two years of development, i expected perfection from the device claiming to be the best smartphone!
What a shame...

I'm not a fanboy of any brand in particular.. I think they all have there flaws (some more than others).
But I really can't understand how someone can seriously assume that the iPhone4 is on top of the game.. I mean SERIOUSLY!!??
Many people I know have an iPhone either the 3g or the 4 (yea, hype does work I guess..)First of all, most of them are youngsters and people who don't really know how to use or even need a smartphone. Secondly I would consider the iPhone more like a toy or a gadget rather than a true smartphone. Thirdly the iPhone is so overpriced for what it offers, that I'm really amazed people are actually buying it...
I think Apple has very good marketing, and that they target people who dont really need a smartphone but who want to look cool and impress people by having "the best phone" around... I would be curious to know the average age of iPhone users..
P.S: No offense iPhone users, I dont hate iPhones with a passion here, I'm just trying to be rationnal and I am only expressing my opinion. I understand that some people can really be happy with an iPhone, to each his own, and as long as you're happy with your device and feel you're getting what you paid for, it's all good.. Pce

I know what iph 5 will introduce; it is sensor based or lens based image stabiliser!! putting 1080p is useless but image stabilisation helps recording movie or still. Apple follows nothing instead it innovates from old tech used in other product categgory.

This is an Impressive Smartphone that makes this phone stand-out in the market.
Although I'm not impressed with the Samsung Co on how they handle their Smartphones Support. And I understand why their customer service is satisfactory compared to the Apple Customer Service...Think that for all the Samsung phones created, they have to cater the support of all those devices, and in fact all those devices are only handled by a few knowledgeable people, unlike Apple Products who has the ratio of service of 10 brains to 1 product. You can say that's their own problem, but consumers tend to think on their own point-of-view instead of analyzing in the company's view. so IMO (in my opinion), fewer products means better customer service. This also IMO applicable to other products like bags, watches, etc. That's why the products on this category is mostly expensive.
But for Apple products like Iphone, I still am not satisfied with their minimalist UI and current advances on their phones. Compared to Samsung Smartphones, they are a bit behind IMO in terms of technology. Well, I have also my Iphone 4, but in terms of cost-performance ratio, my Iphone 3GS is still on par with my Iphone 4 because of some significant differences (Though I have to admit the upgrade of resolution is fantastic). And even I don't really do alot of phone calls, I still am having network problems. But it's not hassle for me because of their great customer service.
As you can see in this Samsung Phone, it has Gorilla Glass Display, Super-AMOLED, can play native XVID/DIVX, Browser that drives Flash and the Dual-FXng Core with 1GB for Smartphones! This is not a joke everyone! This is even on par in terms of processing power with my 2007 Laptop! This is the FUTURE OF SMARTPHONES! more processing power=more apps to run. And in the future, they will have power consumption saver, like the Intel desktop processors' have nowadays...Well maybe thanks to Apple with their Iphone Products (kudos).
In the long run, it all goes down to preferences: Android or IOS System. I don't know if Android apps are now in par with IOS apps, but if they are eventually, then people tends to have alot of options and companies alot of competitions.
