lol. So it'll be stuck on 2.3 (whatever comes with it) forever just like my Captivate. Nice try, Samsung. I ain't gonna spend my dollars on your toys anymore. Design-wise, it's the ugliest I've ever seen. It's like half iphone 4 and half cheap samsung look.

Even with dual core cpu, andropid still lag. really android quality is way below iOS & WinPhone7.

Just check comparison done by GSM Arena between Samsung galaxy S and Iphone 4. It is clear that Iphone lost. Then what is there to boast about Iphone? Since I phone cannot offer latest deals, one has to keep on updating, which is not a good deal to have. Get latest software and forget about updating unless it is very necessary. Updation is not an answer to all. Using the mobile right away is anyone would want.
Battery power Iphone does not last more than one day. My friends has to keep the phone plugged in most of the day to use it. Look at Wave the battery power lasts for a minimum of 4 days Galaxy S battery power lasts minimum 2 days.
Please do not compare Iphone with Samsung. Samsung certainly wins!!!

Come back to reality, it wasn't iPhone. Touch technology was not recent and touch technology on mobile phone is definitely not that recent either.

And please stop saying that other phone companies are copying iPhone. If by design, yes it looks like iPhone but then there's not much design workaround for a cuboid-candybar-shaped touch phone. See if Apple can innovate another dcomplete rehauled design for iPhone next generation. I bet the design will stay the same like the current generation of iPhone but with minor adjustments and changes.
When you want to compare phones, check the specs and software. Apple iPhone has iOS, Samsung Galaxy S 2 and HTC Desire S2 has Android. They are not the same. Spec wise, Galaxy S 2 has AMOLED (SuperAMOLED plus to be precise) and iPhone 4 has SuperLCD. That is a very large difference.

why samsung keep copying others...apparently touchwiz 4.0 copies a lot features of htc senses...and those icons are copied from ios...come on samsung! bring us some ground breaking innovations! stop copying!

Here's the truth, #1 this Samsung phone directly rips off Iphone's springboard, #2 it seems that every manufacturer will be piggybacking Apples technology and software from here on out. (if you own a touchscreen phone at all you're riding Apple's d*#k already). #3, GO BACK TO YOUR HTC THEN!!!

Unbelievable!!! I own a Galaxy S and its already awesome, definitely looking forward to updating to this one whenever its released. Great news coming up from samsung, lets see how google does with the Nexus II and also HTC with their sucessor of the Desire HD.

wow, from the video i don't even notice a speed increase over my Galaxy s (number 1) running gingerbread rom. other than the 1080p video.....what are they giving us to make us want to upgrade? i understand it is dual core .etc...but..it looks to make little difference

everyone of you can get updates on your samsung and htc and motorola android devices. Just that you guys are trolls not being able to root your devices and gaining full access to android os and getting updates until your phone is totally outdate in spec. Like my htc magic, I have been getting updates from the earliest version of android till gingerbread.

Funny i am sick of the iphone and i have only had it 4 months. I just dont get all the fuss i must be missing something along the way. can someone tell me what is so magical about the iphone. ok yes it has great games and then what. Although the battery was truly bad on my Htc Desire i am really starting to miss it. As someone said the problem with the iphone is Steve Jobs and it true. The iphone is so limited

Sammy has many hubs but none of them work properly. That's the different with Apple.. Apple put one thing in, it should work perfect (except iphone4 antenna :D).. Well. same with Sammy, Galaxy S, GPS doesn't work well either..
