However, do be aware of the fact that the site is catered towards the English-speaking crowd (the fact that the site is written in English should have been a hint).
Personally, I really appreciate the writing style as it truly engages the reader.

The language used by GSMARENA for the review is hard to understand. It is like misguiding or confusing. Whatever is your opinions should be in clearly understanding manner.

Just bought this unit and I'm very happy with it. Compared to the Optimus One which frequently hangs and gets touch-unresponsive (especially during fast texting and app use), the Galaxy Ace works likes a charm and is actually a very good alternative to the more expensive Galaxy S.

the, 23 Feb 2011battery life..?? i've heard samsung droids have very poor b... morebattery life is good if u wont play games.....if u play games its suck and sice ram is low u cant open too many application ..if u put livewallpaper u r battery goes out sooon

(I used it like a laptop) However I searched the net and found how to optimize android battery. I'm also using a widget that allows me to quickly turn on/off wifi|bluetooth|gps|aSync|brightness this all in conjunction with Advance task killer now battery lasts for almost 1.5 days. I hope this helps you.

So Galaxy S is the iPhone 3Gs copy, and Galaxy Ace is iPhone 4 copy. Samsung should wait until iPhone 5 is announced, so Galaxy S II could be an iPhone 5 copy.

ah why is there so many phones being made that can't handle adobe flash 10? it may be resource hungry but with the option to switch the plug-in off it would be great on all phones.

What about the xperia neo which is also in the middle end range and it trashes the ace in every aspect! So, I'm wondering why did gsmarena ignore this phone as an alternative.
Samsung may be strong in their high end devices, but no offence when it comes to their low-mid end phones they just suck. Their specs are far inferior to other companies.
And the xperia neo from S/E is a good example.

Hahaha, just compare how an old Nokia 5800, with a ARM11 437Mhz and no GPU is faster than all those "amazing" Androids.

Seriously, it's inaceptable that a phone with such high clock lags like that... But that's something quite usual on the Android realm, all "non high-end" phone lags. People love to bash Symbian but take a look at most of these Android phones, this thing lags even on menu scrolling, Jesus. Even S60v5 phone were faster than that, with alot less powerfull CPUs and not even a hardware accelerated UI.

this device will be much better if it has more powerful ram and 480p video recoring. i think i would rather buy wild fire S or motorola defy. :p
