The upcoming Sony Ericsson Neo and Pro have better specs than this phone- they come with 1Ghz processors, 8.1 mpx cams, larger 3.7" screens and ,android 2.3. Why should I even think of buying this phone???

Well you can say that it looks a little bit like the SII..but for now,since it has not hit the market (SII) this is truly a iPhone copy...Sad to see that Samsung hasn't any ideas...For now it will be a iPhone clone,till the SII comes out...
But overall it seems like a nice phone for the mid-range market,if you don't have anything else to choose from...except for the Defy which is a direct rival...

this phone has good neocore ratings and could be a descent gamer their no lag in asphalt and nfs shift, so its not bad at all.

There's no transition effects and noticeable lags on the scrolling, even with a 800Mhz CPU. Android is a joke.
