I tried Sensation and SG2 at phones4u. What a choice to have to make,I was there 45mins,and Iwanted to leave and come back again.
The Htc is beautifull to look at and to hold, and the operating system is possibly the best implementation of android I've ever seen.I'ts so neat for the size I couldn't believe its a 4.3".I've already gotten My daughter an SG2 so I didn't exspect any thing else to interest me, so I was quit surprized. However I played My SG1,and both of the the other phone screens the lad in th shop let Me handle,
and I found the SG2 better than the Sensation, and the SG2 in real terms not much different than My SG1,(Same pixel count in smaller screen I suppose.), but whilst I was there I scanned this this review on my phone and it tells the real background truth.I think what I wanted was the GS2 screen quality and hardware in the Htc shell shape, perhaps with th Htc software. Well having a taken picture of My daughter in our bedroom with only one of those power saving bulbs for light, I was amazed at the quality of Sg2 and that plus this review made my choice for Me. I've not put My SG2 down, I think what I didn't allow for was ingratitude, I'd not seen the Htc software before, and wow, but when you get to the underlying menus its quite plain, and with My SG1 the background menus were so similar to the SG2 it had removed some of the shock value of this captivateing phone, it is litteraly wait till you get it home theres nothing it can't do. Thats my tuppence worth. If it doesn't offend GSMA, just like to say the iphone 4 does not belong in that battery and must be discounted, not because its not good, but it's only got to light up a comparatively tiny screen, and not run all the other hardware. Thanks for the review though, without it the choice was not an easy one to make on the face of things

At the end of the day, the SGS2 is the best phone on the market as an overall performance. So there's no point in bickering... Iphone this , Htc that. It doesn't matter, so far the GSG2 is the best phone out there, and until apple or htc can do any better, it will stay like this. Seriously if you think that the Iphone 4/Htc Sensation is better than i suggest to lay of the crack pipe.

I felt this who review the article is more sided to sensation. always praising the sensation side? arent the reviewer should be more professional and more neutral when it comes to review?

                    Hey GSM,

Who did the test on iphone battery? You are dreaming if you think you will get the iphone 4 running longer than a SGS2.. No way.. My SGS2 lasts 2 days, of genuine use. Its amazing. My old iphond 4 never made it past the day, say 15 hours. Do your tests again please.

Your comparison of GPS performance based upon reported accuracy values is totally wrong. You can not simply say GPS accuracy of Galaxy SII is worse than the other phones simply based on the reported accuracy values!
The following remark in the review is very much misleading :
"...Note that this is reported accuracy, but actual accuracy should be proportional to these readings...".
Actual accuracy is not always proportional to reported accuracy values! A device does not know its truth position and thus can never report correct accuracy/error from the truth. Reported accuracy is simply an estimated error value on an arbitrary scale different from device to device. A device can give a large conservative accuracy value although its actual accuracy is much better than that, and vice versa. A device with poor GPS can simply report, say, 3m accuracy although its reported latitude/longitude can be deviated from the truth by a large margin, say, 30m. Thus reported accuracy should not be used as a comparative measure of accuracy for different phones. For example, when a device reports 18m accuracy it does not necessarily mean that the position of the device is less accurate than the position of the device that reports 5m accuracy. Instead, we need to look at the reported latitude/longitude value against the known truth position to see how accurate the reported position is and how accurate the GPS is.

from display to battery life to speed, GS2 win all the way. HTC phone are known with low battery life.

The HTC Desire HD is a brilliant phone, except for battery life. It totally rocks with the new Android upgrade to 2.3.3. Watching movies with surround sound has never been better. I own this and its best thing since paula abdul leaving idols..! Now the sensation is faster has better resolution, Battery life still appears to suck but i think this is the phone to beat! just try it and you will see for yourself! no looking back
