N9 is very attractive. 1 thing didn't like the battery is stuck like iPhone. can't take off when needed. but isn't this the last MeeGo/Maemo device from Nokia! if it is why some1 buy this which has no future? as Nokia giving the future to the win devices from now on..

Wow was looking into buying a new phone, either iphone 5 or Xperia Ray but.... Loving this Meego OS!!!!!
Nokia, get FM Radio and increase CPU to 1.4Ghz before shipping!!!! Shave 3mm off the thickness too! :) And you'll get one of ur ex fans back!!!
Btw, won't even consider windows phones.

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2011Stephen Elop sold Nokia to Microsoft.
He ruined the company.Stephen Elop did not ruin the company. In fact, he is saving the company. The board themselves are ruining the brand name, Nokia, because they are too stubborn moving their products forward. This would not have happened if Nokia accepted Google's invitation to build Android phones. All Nokia really need were a couple Android phones to help them keep in pace. Right now, they are still behind. Stephen Elop is moving this company forward even though he is a Microsoft guy.
I do wish he would keep MeeGo OS. It does look more intuitive than Windows Phone 7 OS.

I wanted this phone so much yesterday, but a WP7 from Nokia is more appealing. Not because it's OS is better, just that it has more of a future.
I really really want to see Meego do well though.

Looks nice
but how "easy" it is to swipe back by mistake?
And how much the display eats the battery by stand by when it waiting the gesture to unlock it? And how sensitive it is... for example i have it on my surf shorts that have wery thin pockets? Or eny pants that have shin pockets enyhow...

AnonD-1124, 23 Jun 2011It doesn't need a two stage camera button because the focus... moreWhat if I want to focus on one thing, but lock exposure one something else? Or point the camera in my direction and take a photo? There are some things that buttons just do better.

That UI is unbeliavable. So nice and unique.
Puts that sh1tty looking Android to shame. Honestly Android really needs to work on the UI because the best hw and great community. UI is just one generation behind WP, IOS and now MeeGo.
Starts from the multitasking Google.

Design - wise they have done it right this time. Looks classy and solid. The abscence of paint to be scratched is another thing many people have expected. If they put a good image sensor, the reduced resolution to 8 instead of 12 megapixels is going to only do good to camera performance in respect to noise. The placement of LEDs is like in a real camera.
