Regarding hierarchical menus for apps:
The complaint regarding the menu structure and getting to apps is unfounded. You can move any icon to any level and create your own folders and subfolders. This is the most flexible of any OS and it's probably the best way of working, which is why iOS has gone and added it now.
If you don't like applications being in a folder called applications, just move them to the top level. Personally I like organising mine by type so have a Games folder and a Location folder etc.

i dont know what to say, what is this handset? it cant start or use it without sim card ??? we are now in 2011 and i know that im not talking about low end handset! right?

Not bad,nice Design,but i think it must be more powerful for the CPU plus they should to raise the Internal memory 256MB its not enough for a new handset with Symbian Anna, and also why they didnt make a video call? ( its a new mobile ,we are now using 3G Network ,so i hope they can find my comments as well.

I have this phone now for a good 2 weeks (the dark steel edition is released in the 2nd week of june in the Netherlands, the silver steel will be released in juli). I found the design suburb, a bit space futuristic (also watch the movie: Transformers 3). The screen is one of the best i've seen, and YES it is an Amoled screen with Nokia's Clearblack technologie. There is a little booklet in the box with specs and features of the phone, and says it has clearblack screen. The build quality is outstanding, or must i say: build like a tank. The audio quality of the speakers and also the receiving of network is one of the best (much better then the Desire HD i've had before). At normal use (few short phonecalls, sms texting/sending, bit of gaming and internet use: 3 a 4 days with battery! At frequently use i think it can hold up to 2 days.
The browser is much faster now with Anna and better to use. O.k. it's not so fast/good as with Android but good enough.
Great working audio player with OUTSTANDING SOUND out of the 2 speakers or with the included headset. Tested it: the player works for more than 46 hours with a full loaded battery....nice!
O.k. the X-7-00 has a few minors:
-the switchings between Anna and the old Symbian3 in the menu's is a bit of a look down, hope it's solved with a update to Bella.
-the camera has no fixedfocus and Carl Zeiss lens. Picture quality for a Nokia phone at this pricerange is average.
-the metal case is dark painted (so not made of gunmetal), beware with keys and stuff like that, easy to made a scrath on it.

nokia is dumb lol! why can't they learn how motorola, samsung and LG and most importantly HTC made profit bucz of android!!!!!!!!

256 RAM? 1200 mah? It's 2011, why didn't they up the RAM to 512 and the battery to 1500 mah?

As for the Android powered devices you have to download a 3rd party application.

Nothing beats my Nexus S :P ive just been an adopter of the Android and it is FANTASTIC, its sad to see Nokia so beat up like this and struggling to gain market share but thats what you get when your OS is outdated, slow, sluggish and laggy as hell sorry but I used to be a Nokia phone and tried to stick with it until Apple released the iPhone but now Google has unlocked pandora's box and all hell broke loose
