Windows Phone 7.5 review: Ready, set, mango

7 October 2011
Some people are wary of buying a first generation product - and with good reason, there're always kinks to sort out. That's what Windows Phone 7.5 is here to do. The long expected Mango update finally puts iron to fabric in a bid to get rid of the said kinks...

A few months ago I cannot make a choice between buying the n9 or waiting till next year for the new nokia windows phones. But after seeing this review, I'm going with the former. There's something about the windows OS that doesn't click for me. The menus, tiles, color scheme, functionality.. I dunno.

I'll just go with the n9.

[deleted post]Lemme try, begin using 7.5 on Omnia 7 for a while now.

review was very shallow. Are u able to tell us if:
1-7,5 mango lets you use sip telephony? sip? if you mean tethering yea. But you need a second generation device or u might wanna look up hacks for 1 gen samsung devices.
2-lets view pictures in catalog order? I dont get. But u can organis ur picture and stuff.
3-media player is able to play ogg and flac files? Nope. You sync with Zune so I guess it can convert them.
4-user is able to use applications not bought from microsoft market? Cmon, No way. There is only one marketplace. And I think that good.
5-user is able to control easily what type of connection device is using currently (to control costs)? Yea, u can turn off data connection and wifi easily.
