This is very upsetting that this mobile don't support many of the useful software such as opera mini, uni language code, and so on.

But the battery life gets worse with every new phone on the market. How come mr. Steve Jobs&his i-phone got such a long lasting battery, they don't talk about saver mode! If I dont charge my battery at 14:00 pm and before I go to bed it doesn't even help me through the day.& I don't listen 2 music, I don't use bluetooth& I only wifi at home..Am I the only one, or are the're more lumia peepz with me?

RAMESH CHAND, 04 Oct 2012hendset very goodLooks great, hopefully the dlasipy is also good quality. There's some stiff competition coming from Samsung and Asus in addition to Apple of course. I suppose Fujitsu will try to appeal enterprise customers, but I think they could make some good quality ultrabooks for the avarage consumer too.

Maybe to others it's a large part of their decision, because they don't have the smarts to avoid/destroy/prevent trojans and viruses.

People with these smarts are the type of people who tend to appreciate OS functionality, diversity and customisation, so they can tweak their device to their needs, rather than being dictated how to use their device by a rigid OS.

Nokia's junk dude. Get over it.

Hmm, judging by those shots, the camera in the 800 is a bit disappointing: The images are not much better than what my trusty old Nokia 97 mini makes. More pixels, but they appear as fuzzy. Possibly this is something that a software update could fix (slightly more sharpening?).

Apple computer (not iPhone) users BRAG about being in such a minority that there are no viruses on their machines. Yet they laugh at MS's small market share in the mobile phone sector. Hypocrites!

If you consider that LUMIA 800 is already priced at 400€ (unlocked, t-mobile) and the 710 will be considerably cheaper, there really isn't any competition at that price range. 710 leads by a mile. The cheap end Android experience is quite sad affair.

That alone is going to do wondets for WP7 market share.

Ashura, 26 Oct 2011Are you familiar with a little something called ANTI MALWAR... more200,000 people already downloaded booby-trapped apps on the Android Market and you're calling that a small issue? That number was back then and who knows how many were victimized lately. This is only the start of an avalanche of malwares on Android's open Market.

                                      http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-12633923

Saying that you need an anti-virus/anti-malware app to make your smartphone safer is a failure. You are defending a fundamentally flawed platform full of security holes/viruses/malwares.

I am glad Nokia choses WP and not Android. I would rather have the peace of mind that the apps I downloaded from the store are safe and does not contain malwares. And only WP and iOS can guarantee that.

Soon, people will realize just how much better WP is compared to Android and WP will start eating away at Android's marketshare.
