Steve Chops, 15 Nov 2011Metal makes the phone heavier. titan beats nokia lumia beca... moreThe only advantage there is the front facing camera. This huge screen is an disadvantage and make this phone exclusive for very specific kind of people. Do you really think that anyone will be confortably using a phone with tablet-like dimensions that is hard even to put on the pocket? This screen size is a joke.
You consider 100Mhz of more clock a considerable advantage? You got to be kiding.
The slimmer form factor is only a fashion thing, it won't make it any more confortable to hold. And the phone still heavier than Lumia 800.
Funny that you also ignored the Lumia 800 advantages like the much better camera, MUCH better screen (that is actually visible in direct sunlight ;) ), exclusive Nokia apps and much more comfortable dimensions thanks to it's screen size.
I must say that it was a nice try from HTC, releasing a phone with marginally more clock and gigantic screen size thinking that it's going to beat Nokia in their own game. They should try to improve more useful things like the poor screen, camera and audio-quality first.

Imagine the joy on your face when you pull this little guy out of your pocket. Disgustingly big for a phone. Not into it at all.

I really do see myself sometime soon jumping ship to go with a WP7 device. The Titian almost makes me want to do that now. It's a great looking device even though it's so massive compared to my lil Desire-Z. I like it though, the OS looks really good on a bigger screen. It's only limitations are the OS limits mainly in Screen resolution. Once the OS is able to support hi-res screens, we're more then likely going to see a lot of very nice devices soon.

Metal makes the phone heavier. titan beats nokia lumia because of ....
1. front facing camera.
2. bigger screen (document editing, web browsing)
3. faster 1.5ghz core
4. slimmer at 9.9mm
5. lighter than the desire hd, optimus 3d despite it's f***ing big screen.

Whatever it is the WP7 wave seems to be getting bigger. Android better start looking over its shoulder, someone is coming to lunch, and Android sandwiches are on the menu.

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2011this year windows was nowhere near android. next year hopef... moreThis is because WP7 no need dual-cores...the OS works PERFECT on a single core, is fully optimized, no lags and no problems...
No matter if Android has Quad, stills non-optimized wth a lots of lags and problems around.....

"The Titan certainly keeps the Nokia Lumia 800 at a safe distance. "
I don't really understand.
Is it for the screen ? Okay it's far bigger but that is a matter of taste...and even if the S-LCD of the Titan seems really good, the Amoled CBD is at least at the same level.
Is it for the camera ? Okay, it seems better. But is it sufficient for keeping "a safe distance" ?
It's no troll or Nokia fanboyism, I would just understand why you say that, cause I don't see explanations (and Nokia has same harware or so, plus the Drive and Music apps). Where do you put the distance between the two ?
Thanks for your answer.

I don't understand - one of Key features is "Pretty good audio quality", but on the other hand, audio output is considered as "Uninspiring". Or am I missing something?
