Anonymous, 19 Nov 2011the physical QWERTY is a bitch. Adding too much weight. HTC... moreLOL, I don't see much of a difference in weight except for the built quality. Build some muscles bro maybe a 150g won't be so heavy for you.

the physical QWERTY is a bitch. Adding too much weight. HTC Desire Z was a nightmare to me. i felt that i was carrying a brick in my pocket at that time.

I wouldn't worry too much about the wobbly slider comment - as far as sliders go this one is fairly well built.
My only criticism of the build quality is that the back cover can become a bit creaky after a couple of weeks.

The display is one of the brightest out there - look at the light meter readings. I think the viewing angles are more than acceptable on this device, and I don't want it to wide as you get more privacy.

AnonD-252, 18 Nov 2011The problem with GSMArena is that they never ever say anyth... moreMaybe that's because, apart from the X10 and Vivaz, Sony Ericsson actually do make truly awesome phones?!

lol, 18 Nov 2011actually they keep babbling about his ''smart dial'' functi... moreagree - I don't think many people care about smart dialling, though admittedly I think the contact searching would be better if you could also search by middle or second names.
Not to worry though, as there's a good chance this will be fixed when we get the ICS update :D :D :D

GSMArena forgot to mention one thing in the software section. My Xperia Pro came with a FULL one year licence of McAfee security (the other Xperias only have trials as far as I'm aware).
My UK version also came bundled with a car charger.

lol, 18 Nov 2011actually they keep babbling about his ''smart dial'' functi... moreSmart Dialing basically lets you find and dial a specific contact in a few very easy steps, by filtering out Contacts on your Device (both Outlook and SIM). Let’s say I want to call Brandon, what do I do? I birng up the Dialpad and I start typing once the numbers of the letters that correspond to Brandon: 2 for B, 7 for R, 2 for B, just like T9. As I keep typing in the numbers, Smart Dialing keeps filtering out my Contacts one by one, as soon as I enter information just to let me with one Contact filtered at the end: the one that matches my criteria of “Bra” (“272”).
i think my nokia 5800xm had it

Quick question: Must there be Pros and cons to all devices that are reviewed here on GSMArena? Some of the disadvantages are ridiculous and do not depict constructive criticism of the device itself. Imagine when a device being made of high quality polycarbonate material is considered a disadvantage. Maybe reviewers should state what phones are being compared to determine how they arrived at these pros and cons.
