"Despite some talk that Nokia would be allowed to modify the Windows Phone interface, the Lumia 800 uses a completely unmodified interface" Nokia need 5years to make UI :)

A beautiful iPhone by Nokia. But sorry Nokia, I'm not an iFan. The mobile industry is now gravitating away from sophistication and versatility towards simplicity, fluidity and dumbness. Question is, why can't we have the best of both worlds? Wait a sec, I guess that's what android is set to achieve. Thumbs-up to google!

Too bad that WP is the worst mobile OS on market. It's more like firmware for dumbphones than real OS for smartphones - it lacks so much functionality. Symbian had tons more functionality years ago. Microsoft paid millions of dollars to Nokia to kill Meego - they know, that Nokia with their name and patents was only one company that could save WP. They bribed the mammoth with cheap money and killed the company. Nokia is now just hw manufacturer. Sad.

I say no to this particular handset, its old os in higher price. No video calling, front facing cam, exp memory, old bluetooth, file transfer.
Is Nokia made this phone and in a high price, it will not highly acceptable by Nokia lovers. Not happy from specs. Camera not best, screen lacks small size, non user battery.

remember all, this was never meant to be a flagship, it was meant to be a very solid and good phone for the average user to boost windows OS in america and put some spark and interest into windows phone and nokia together worldwide. Nokia will use the '900' series windows devices to battle the high end devices like galaxy s3. after MWC we will see nokias and microsoft's full intentions with their flagship/s

This is definitely going to be my next phone. Just waiting until the price drops a little bit at least which should happen post Christmas.
The beauty of the N9 design combined with the most intuitive OS... who could say NO to that.

WP7 Mango is simply beautiful. Add to that Nokia's quality hardware combination and we've got ourselves a winner!

Even if i should choose one WP, i wouldn't buy this overpriced medicore junk.
In terms of spec, Flash S is miles better than this or other brands are selling similar specs with much low cost. Why should we choose Lumia 800? Nothing special about this phone!

Windows sucks! I love this design, but I don't wont dead OS like MeeGo or ugly OS like WP7... If this was Android or even Symbian Belle, that would be something.

I can remember when Nokia N97 came out and at that same time samsung omnia hd also came out. Both were equally priced but please compare the spec of both phones.
Now several dual core phones are out there at similar/lower price or even some windows7 phone of similar spec out there which priced about half of this nokia lumia 800.
I hope now people can see how nokia is cheating the customers.
