Just updated. Everything works good but it looks like an awkward mix of GB, ICS and TW. I´ll call it, IC(S)amsung. Fluid UI overall but had to install Apex launcher to really make it, humm... useful. Some live wallpapers that on GB were fluid between screen swipes, now stutter. In the end, you really have to experience the new firmware with your own configs to see how it works for you.

I want to like ICS but there are to many bugs and freezes and..., and too many apps and games are no longer supported/usable on ICS! Dolphin Browser HD is the only browser that can handle everything, including flash, without problems on ICS! Batterydrain is gigantic and it actually drains faster than the charger can charge the battery because even with the charger plugged in the battery drains to empty if it is being used while charging!

please. could someone show the s2 using a ps3 sixaxis controller. this always seems to get skipped, and to me at least, is the most important part of the update. modern combat 3 via wifi on a big screen with a ps3 controller for some online play anywhere in the world! is no one else excited at this prospect? the s2 has the potential to become the best portable console ever.

Updated XXLPQ Poland version. Every thing works fine except Play Shop. Play shop did not download apps via WiFi, but on Mobile Data downloading ok. I have no firewall set on my router. Gingerbread 2.3.6 Market worked on same WiFi network. Did you guys notice it or this problem is only for me?

I first installed official ICS from sammobile.com using Mobile Odin, I did not like it because of the many bugs and lags…, so I then downgraded to official GB, XWKI8, using Mobile Odin. I then decided to try the built-in over the air update from within my S2, no KIES and no Odin…, and the OTA update to ICS installed without any problems, all my apps are still here and I even still have root and SuperUser and Mobile Odin are both still installed even after the update, that is really good!

I am just surprised at the camera updates...no fast shutter or instant capture?...they also did not mention whether the update brings the galaxy nexus gallery...and no ICS themes or that nice transitional effects?what about the ICS google music player? Crappy touch wiz player is not that cool... Heck why can't they just bring the galaxy nexus experience to the s2...they
