I like how the HOX rocking the GS3 in low light is reduced to a single sentence: "However, if you look at the low light video frames, you'll notice that the HTC One X once again puts its fast lens to good use and scores a point." whereas the GS3's slight advantage in daylight gets paragraphs in excrutiating detail. Makes you wonder ;)

I also like how the One X's advantages are largely not based on specs and useless synthetic benchmarks.
"Things get vastly different in low light, when the bright F/2.0 optics of One X count big time. In such conditions the HTC flagship crushes its opponent, producing images with far less noise and much better contrast."
JUST AS EXPECTED. Love it. While some will have to pixel peep to look for differences between the GS3 and HOX in daylight, there's massive differences in low light. Don't cheapen out on the glass next time, Samsung!

just another reason to pat themselves on the back an in denial assurance per se that they spent money on something where another has already beaten it for bang for the buck had they waited.

I laughed at how S Beam and S Voice are called pros on the front page yet from the review they're obviously useless gimmicks:

for my knowledge i would like to know that how does Smart Stay work in the dark
also if Direct call works an the basis of proximity sensor then while reading a text or composing it, will it even make a call if i suddenly or by chance put my hand near the proximity sensor or just S3 upside down
would appreciate the reply...hope sum1 could help :)

GSMArena battery test gives s3 43h of endurance test,
that is 6 HOURS MORE than HOX!
(not to mention ability to just swap a fresh, full charge batt easily)

yes even in bright outdoors light,according to this review the sgs3 wins in terms of readability.
people only have to go to xda-forums and visit the htc one x,s,v section to see that all the main posts you see there are problems.
yes problems with wifi,yellow spots,screens flexing,low battery life even when their unit is just a week old and even the update didn't fix all units - if you were lucky to finally get a unit that is without those other problems you would have wanted to change only the battery now it won't be possible because of yes you can't take off the battery. now you change the whole unit just because of a defective battery and give yourself another chance to get a possible defective unit and not just the battery.

that's because this is the moment the samsung users waited for to fight back against those who only have "ugly design" to attack it with.
you might say the cpu/gpu benchmarks won't account for real life situations because nobody will notice, alright we agree with that. but you surely can't say that for the movie playback for sure with the sgs3 mopping the floor with htc with its 4+ hours more of movie playback time.
that alone speaks volumes of how good the battery life is for this unit.
and by the way,those who made fun of sgs3 for its design now are saying the triumph of sgs3 over htc x in benchmarks are just minute. the same goes for the pentile display you've all been attacking, for only one who puts the phone near his eyes or uses a magnifying lens or microscope to use it will see those things. but on normal arm length usage away from your eyes you won't see them.
GSMARENA in truth was just DIPLOMATIC.
but what they are really trying to say IS LET THE RESULTS SPEAKS FOR THEMSELVES and that is the GS3 wins by a mile.
all those many little details, features gives gs3 the edge.
beats audio is nothing compared to voodoo.
we have all seen the video comparison of sgs3 and htc way before this article was written and htc's video looked pale.
in pictures the sgs3 clearly won on good lighting condition.
in low light condition, the htc won. so on this one it's a tie.
being able to change batteries and have microsd is a huge plus.
all in all you add all those things, all htc x won against the sgs3 is design and non-pentile display.
design, we all know users can change that once front and back covers will be available.
non-pentile display, unless you use a magnifying lens those things are not noticeable at arms length distance at hd displays.

Samsung can never compete in quality with HTC and here's the proof again....talking abt benchmarks and all those boasting and barking about it, that s3 beats onex in performance, i have a question for them
"why you people rely on benchmarks so much ? because if benchmarks tell the true story then why don't the score is same all the time"

ok you want practical proof....check gsmarena bolg itself compare the results of S3 benchmarks when they first tested it with that of now.....
In first test s3 beated every device but now in 3 benchmarks it is beaten by HTC one s...why???
and then touchwiz hardly managed to cope up with sense this time
for battery you've got OTA update for 1x...then it works pretty well...
I do admit that S3 got Smart Stay,Direct call,memory advantage
and guess what it may sound harsh but its d truth

It doesnot matters the no. of sales to me because in this biased world people buy by looking at others rather than there personal preference and knowledge due which again S3 will get some nice amnt of sales....that's poor world....

awe..........now i get it....but i wonder if it will work even if the headsets r plugged in without those over-priced-like-hell beats headsets...even my xperia mini pro costs lower than that n it has a wonderful Xloud enhancement which also boosts loudspeaker performance...

Loved the last part of the review....very objective....but yet I find myself asking the question: Why is beats audio an advantage? At first I thought its a very cool feature significantly boosting the loudspeaker/Audio performance....but in reality.....It just....sucks! :S
